Breast Cancer Went Wild After Surgery, Chemo-Radiotherapy. E-Therapy Helped Relieve Her Pains

Eva (not real name) was 33 years old when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent surgery at a hospital in Hong Kong in June 2009.

The histopathology reports indicated the following:

1.  Left breast mass at 1 o’clock – excision

Diagnosis: Fibroadenosis, Fibroadenoma.

Right breast mass at 1 o’clock, lumpectomy.

Diagnosis: Infiltrative ductal carcinoma, grade 2. No sentinel lymph node metastasis (0/14).

Tumour size: 1.1 + 0.6 cm.

Resection margins clear.

Positive for estrogen and progesterone receptors, highly proliferative activity. Negative for c-erbB-2 oncoprotein.

2.   Right breast lump at 3 o’clock, lumpectomy

 Diagnosis: Fibroadenoma.

After surgery, Eva received 6 cycles of chemotherapy – 3 cycles using FEC (5FU + epirubicin + cyclophosphamide) and 3 cycles of Taxol. This was done in Hong Kong. She received 30 radiation treatments in Macau. There was no further medication after this.

A follow-up mammogram in 2011 showed everything was clear.

In 2012 (i.e. some 3 years later) Eva started to have back pain. MRI in December 2012 showed some spots in her lumbar.

In January 2013, a PET / CT scan showed extensive bony metastasis. She was prescribed Tamoxifen and Xeloda and pain killers.

Medication

After taking Xeloda she was not able to sit down or walk. She had to be hospitalized for a week and given painkiller injection. She was discharged and had to use the wheelchair.

At the end of February 2013, Eva decided to return to her home in Indonesia.

In late March 2013, she consulted an oncologist in Penang. She was told to undergo chemotherapy again using Carboplatin. She has to take an oral drug, Navelbine.  She has to undergo six cycles of this treatment and each cycle would cost RM 7,000. In addition she needs a monthly injection of bisphosphonate for her bone. This would cost an addition RM 1,700 per month.

Can the treatment cure her? The oncologist said: Not sure!

Eva refused further medical treatment. Eva and her mother (who also has cancer) came to seek our help on 21 March 2013. She presented severe pain and was unable to sleep at night. Her movements were very restricted.

Her CA 15.3 results over the years showed an increase from 12.7 to 246.1

E-Therapy at CA Care

We really felt sorry for Eva seeing her in such severe pain. We decided that Eva should try the e-therapy right away and requested her to postpone her return home. She needed to stay in Penang for an additional 5 days. And here is her story.

In summary after 2 days on the e-therapy, Eva had less pain and was able to sit up and watch the television for 2 hours. This is something she could not do before. She had to lie down in bed most of the time. With the e-therapy she could sit, walk and move around without much difficulty.  We told Eva to come back to Penang for the e-therapy again if her problems recurred.

Breast Cancer: Pains Gone After e-Therapy

MT (S-127) is a 44-year old female from Batam, Indonesia. She was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in August 2005. MT underwent a mastectomy followed by 6 cycles of chemotherapy and 30 radiation treatments. Then she took Tamoxifen for 5 years.

After 5 years, MT was told to stop Tamoxifen because she was already cured.  But barely a year later, in April 2011, MT started to have pains in her tail bone and shoulder blade.  CT scan in February 2012 indicated metastasis to her bones.

MT gave up further medical treatment and came to CA Care for help. Her health improved. Her pains disappeared. When she was well, she exerted herself causing the pains to recur. MT came back to see us again on 6 May 2012 and underwent the e-Therapy.

Acknowledgement:  MT granted us her permission to use this video without having to mask her face.

Before the e-Therapy

Watch the first part of the video carefully. She walked with difficulty and with a limp. She had difficulty sitting down and had to support herself. She appeared to be in pain when moving due to the following problems.

  1. She had pains on both thighs and around her hip.
  2. Pain in the lumbar region.
  3. Muscles cramps in both legs.
  4. Her tail bone felt pains and “hot.”
  5. Her muscles around her shoulder blades felt numb.
  6.  She had pulling pains in her head.

After the e-Therapy

Watch the second part of the video. After two to four sessions of the e-Therapy MT appeared a “different person” free from all pains. She was able to walk normally (not limping anymore). She could sit down normally.

Chris: Is there any difference in your sleep – before and after the e-Therapy?

MT:  I slept better after the e-Therapy.

After the e-Therapy, were there more or less pains?

Less pain. The lumbar region had “loosened” up and there were no more pains.  The whole body felt “lighter.” I felt better when walking.

You said you had pains in both thighs?

No more problems.

Are you sure?

No more problems!

You said your legs were numb?

No more.

Your tail bone felt hot?

Not anymore.

At the back, around your shoulder blades – they were tight and numb – what happen now?

No more. I fell “lighter” now.

The pulling pains in your head?

I did not feel that anymore.

After two sessions of the e-Therapy and you really feel better?

Yes. I felt much better. Before e-Therapy I had difficulty standing up. I had to push myself up with both my hands. Now, I am okay – no problem.

Do you have problem walking?

Not any more.

What other problems do you have now?

The muscles at the lower rib region feel a bit tight.

Okay, we will “repair” that.

Breast Cancer: When a so-called “cure” was not a cure

MT (S-127) is a 44-year old female from Batam, Indonesia. In August 2005, she found a thumb-sized lump in her right breast. She went to a hospital in Melaka, Malaysia for medical treatment. MT underwent a mastectomy followed by 6 cycles of chemotherapy and 30 radiation treatments. Then she was prescribed Tamoxifen, which she took for 5 years.

MT was told by her doctors that her breast cancer was at an early stage and that she had a 90 percent chance of complete cure with the treatments that she had undergone. MT believed her doctor and did exactly as what was told. Each year she came back to her doctor in Melaka for routine checkup. At every visit she was told that she was fine.

After 5 years, MT was told to stop Tamoxifen because she was already cured. MT spent a total of about 60 million rupiahs for her medical treatment.

Barely a year later, in April 2011, MT started to have pains in her tail bone and shoulder blade. She ignored the problem and did not go back to see her doctor. Then she started to take “jamu” (Indonesian herbal). The pains did not go away but rather became more intense. Then her legs started to hurt as well. She became breathless and was unable to walk far. She became tired easily when walking.

On 27 February 2012, MT returned to her doctor in Melaka. Examination indicated a lump in her chest bone and another lump in her head (see pictures).

Medical reports on 27 February 2012 are as follows:

Mammography: There are 2 round left axillary nodes seen ? reactive node ? metastasis ?

Ultrasound: There is mild to moderate left hydronephrosis.

Chest: Density of the right mid-zone with adjacent crowded ribs due to ? fracture or pleural base mass. There is blunting of right costophrenic angle possible of mild effusion or pleural thickening. Left lung is clear.

MT asked her doctor why the cancer recurred when she was told earlier that she had been cured. The doctor replied,     “ I do not know why. But don’t blame yourself. It is your fate.  Also the recurrence has nothing to do with what you eat. It is just your fate.”

MT was asked to perform a PET scan but she refused. Instead, on 9 March 2012, she came to Penang to seek our help. She presented as follows:

  • She had pains in both the left and right thigh.
  • She had pains in the lumbar region or back bone around the pelvis.
  • Sometimes there were pulling pains in her head.
  • She was constipated. She moved her bowels once every 2 to 4 days.
  • She lacked energy and was easily tired if working or walking some distance.

She was prescribed Capsule A, Breast M, Bone, Lung 1 and Lung 2 and C-tea.

After Two Months on CA Care Therapy

About two months on the herbs, 6 May 2012, MT came back to see us again. Her health had improved. The Pain Tea had helped her. There was no more pain after taking the Pain Tea but after she stopped taking the Pain Tea, the pain came back. Since MT was staying in Penang for a week, we decided to put MT on the e-Therapy for her pains.

After three days on the e-Therapy all her pains were almost gone. Click this link, to know how MT benefited from the e-Therapy.

Comments

There are many lessons we can learn from this case.  The doctor told MT: “You are cured after 5 years.  I do not know why you have a recurrence. It is your fate.  The recurrence has nothing to do with what you eat.”

1.  It is not true to say or believe that if you survive 5 years you are totally cured of your cancer. Passing the 5-year mark is no magic at all. There is no science in that number “5”. The reality is you have to survive 25 years to be able to say that you are cured of your cancer. Patients can’t wait that long to hear such good news. So someone, somehow “cooked” up  that number of 5 from nowhere so as to make patients happy.  Listen to what Dr Susan Love said – and remember, she is one of the world’s most outstanding breast cancer doctor!

2.  The current state of affair is that we don’t know why people get cancer and we also don’t know why patients suffer recurrences. I tend to believe that the problem lies in not wanting to really “know the problem” and not asking the right question. If you don’t search at the “right place” you can’t find the answer!

3.  Medicine is supposed to be scientific and to say that your recurrence is due to fate is tragic, probably fueled by   ignorance or could not care less attitude. If indeed it is due to our karma or fate, then why must MT spend all the money to undergo chemotherapy, radiotherapy and take Tamoxifen (for 5 years)? It is not cheap and it is not fun!

4.  Where does that leave cancer patients with? They are left high and dry after all the supposedly scientific medical treatments have failed them. They become hopeless, disempowered and frustrated. But don’t be disheartened, my experience shows that cancer patients can do something to reduce that risk of recurrence. Change your diet and lifestyle, exercise and have a positive attitude about life. If you do that you can life longer! You are not as hopeless as doctors tell you. Many others can do it, why can’t you if you are prepared to change. But the problem is with patients who are not prepared to listen and change!

Metastatic Breast Cancer: From Despair to Hope and from Hope to Healing

Medical history

This patient was diagnosed with breast cancer that had spread to her bones. She went to China for treatment – using chemotherapy, cryoablation and radioactive seeding  In 2008, she went to China thrice, in 2009, twice and in 2010 once.  These treatments did not cure her. Since February 2011, she was unable to walk. The left leg was in pain and swollen. Two months later she had surgery for her leg. But her pains persisted.

In late September 2011, she had pains in her abdomen and was hospitalized. Her family refused further medical treatment. Then they learned about CA Care through another patient (see her case) https://cancercaremalaysia.com/2011/09/10/lung-brain-cancer-an-impossible-healing-1-hope-after-a-disaster-%E2%80%93-when-iressa-tarceva-forty-cycles-of-chemo-and-sutent-did-not-cure-her/

Without hesitation, the patient’s husband and daughter-in-law brought her to seek our help the next day,  9 October 2011.

From Despair to Hope

She was wheel chair bound. She had to be carried up into the airplane. She was unable to stand up by herself. She was unable to sleep and had pains in her legs throughout the day and night. After five days on the e-Therapy and herbs, her conditions improved.  Her despair turned into hope!  On 26 October 2011, her daughter-in-law called to say that the patient (at home in Jakarta) was able to walk by herself with the help of a walking stick. On the day when she returned home, she was able to walk slowly into the airplane – no need to be carried into the plane like the day she came to Penang. Read her full story: https://cancercaremalaysia.com/2011/10/23/breast-cancer-from-despair-to-hope-in-five-days/

From Hope to Healing

About two months later, 7 December 2011, patient and her husband and daughter-in-law came back to see us again. Patient had improved tremendously. She was able to stand up and walk slowly by herself. She was able to talk and smile. Indeed a big contrast from the previous visit when everybody was serious, grim and full of anticipation. This second visit was full of smile and laughter – very relaxed.  The only concerns patient has now are the discomforts of her right leg and her lack of strength when walking.

An Acugraph reading showed that her qi level was only 19% (very low). We prescribed her the Energy Tea. After three days on this herbal tea, her qi increased to 31% (see figure below).

Patient also underwent the e-Therapy. The discomforts improved slightly after the treatment. Watch this video and see the unfolding of healing process.

This is a brief transcription of our video conversation.

7 December 2011

She stood up and slowly walked by herself. It was wonderful!

Chris:  After you went home, I did not know what had happened to you. I only hoped that your condition did not drop (deteriorate).

Daughter-in-law:  Her health improved further.

When going into the airplane, could she walk by herself?

DIL: Yes, she walked by her herself (Note: two months ago, she had to be carried into the plane).

Okay, what is her main problem now?

DIL:  Pain in the legs – everyday and throughout the day. At night the pains becomes more intense. It is a kind of sore pain.

The first time she came, she had abdominal pain?

DIL: That is gone now – no more pain.

After you went home – that is already two months now – is her condition getting better or worse?

DIL: Yes better – getting to be normal. Now it is only this leg pain that is troubling her – otherwise she is okay. No headache or dizziness, able to sleep well – if there is no pain.

She is still staying in Jakarta?

DIL: No, she went home to Kalimantan for the past five weeks.  She just came to Jakarta a few days ago to come to Penang.

Ibu, when you return to your hometown – you got to meet your friends – what did they say?

(Laugh!) Very good.

Happy to see your friends and relatives again?

(Nodding and smiling).

11 December 2011

Okay (after three days on the e-Therapy and herbs) what is the problem now?

DIL: Only her right leg. Now (9 pm) she has no pain but later into the night (after 10 pm) she starts to feel the pain – but the time is not fixed – depends. She also feels the pain in the day time but it is not as intense as at night.

On Wednesday (7 December) we did the e-Therapy.  After that you said there was less pain. We continue with the e-Therapy – she felt better.

DIL: Yes – a bit better – able to sleep until the next morning.

When she goes to sleep, does the pain come on again?

DIL: No.

We are talking now (9 pm) and you said she has no pain – when is she going to feel the pain?

DIL: When she has nothing to do at night she begins to feel the pain. If she goes around anywhere, she has no pain (Husband laughed!).

Where she is not doing anything she feels the pain – how long does the pain last?

DIL: Until she feels sleepy and falls asleep. For example the pain starts at 10 pm – it drags on until 12 mid-night or 1 am. Then she falls asleep. No more pain and she goes to sleep the whole night.

What did you do when she had pain?

Husband: Massaged her leg.

Ibu, did you have any problem drinking the herbal tea?

No problem.

Oh, other patients often complained – they felt nauseous or even vomited.

DIL: Mama wanted to k now how long has she got to be on the herbs?

Ha, ha, until you can run around! Why did you ask that question? Are you tired or fed-up of taking the herbs?

DIL: No, no, just wanting to know.

Okay, let me ask you this – before you came to see me and started to take the herbs – and now that you are on the herbs – has you conditions improved?

I felt great – more comfortable!

Now that you are better – do you want to stop taking the herbs? Let’s say I tell you now to stop taking the herbs – do you want to do that?

Oh, no,no, (waving her hand in disagreement). I would not do that.

So my advice is – relax and take it easy. Continue taking the herbs. It is only two months.

DIL: There is a vast improvements.

Let me ask you again. After coming back from China and after the surgery in Jakarta – you did not seek any more medical treatment because these did not cure you. Tell me how did you feel after that – what did your heart say? That is before you came to CA Care.

DIL: We were lost and helpless, not knowing what else to do or where else to go to. We went to see many doctors – bone doctor, cancer doctor, etc., etc., we felt we did not find the “real” doctor who could effectively help her.

At that time, did you feel you wanted to give up>

DIL: Yes, we did not know who else to go to for help. Then a friend of a friend told us about a patient who came to CA Care lately. She was “healed” by your therapy. We called her husband and went to meet him in his office. Two days later, we flew to Penang to see you.

When you heard of that healing story, did you believe what the man, Mr. Tukiman, had told you? You really believe his story?

DIL: Yes, we bought the plane tickets and flew to see you two days later!

Did you really believe what Tukiman said?

DIL: sure, we believed all what he told us.

Husband: Nodding and nodding.

Bapak, you too went to meet Tikuman and you believed what he told you. You were not afraid he was just bluffing you?

(Ha, ha, everybody laughed!).

When you first arrived at our Centre – saw what we did to others. Did you really believe what we were doing?

Husband: Nodding. Yes, I believed.

Okay Ibu, you took the herbs and you got better. At home can you play with your grandchildren now?

Yes, can play with them now.

Before the herbs, could you play with your grandchildren?

DIL: She remained confined to her bedroom.

But now can you walk around.

DIL: Yes, she walked around in the house.

Now, is there hope?

(Everybody laughed!)

Wonderful, wonderful.  I feel very happy for you.

DIL: Look at her face. She had improved a lot.

Now you have found the  right path. You know how to take care of yourself. Go home and don’t get lost again.
