Meaningless Shrinking of Tumor While on Tarceva

Mark (not real name) is a 34-year old male. Sometime in September 2006 he had coughs which led to the diagnosis of lung cancer. A CT scan on 18 December 2006 showed a 5 x 5 cm mass at the right upper lobe of this lung. The right lung also had fluid (pleural effusion). In addition, there were several metastatic lesions in the partially collapsed right mid and lower lobes of the lung. The left lung was clear. Unfortunately the cancer had already spread to the fourth and sixth ribs. A core biopsy of the lung mass indicated a moderately differentiated papillary adenocarcinoma.

Chemotherapy Failed

From December 2006 to February 2007, Mark underwent chemotherapy with Gemzar and cisplatin. Two cycles were given each month and he received a total of six cycles. The cost of each cycle was around RM 4,000. The oncologist told him that there would be no cure but the size of the tumor could be reduced by the treatment.

After the chemotherapy was completed, a CT scan on 7 March 2007 showed right lung severely collapsed with a mass lesion measuring 6 cm over the hilum. Mark had to undergo a procedure to re-inflate his lung.

Oral Drug Tarceva

Mark was told that chemotherapy was not effective. He was asked to take the oral drug, Tarceva which cost RM 270 / pill. The progress of the treatment responses are as follows:

1.  CT scan on 9 March 2007 showed a 7.5 cm x 6 cm mass and a daughter nodule measuring 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm.

2.  CT scan on 31 May 2007 showed a mass measuring 4 cm x 2 cm, a significant reduction in size of the right lung mass.

3.  CT scan on 13 September 2007 showed no significant change compared to the previous CXR.

4.  CT scan on 13 November 2007 showed a larger mass measuring 8 x 6 x 4 cm. There was fibrosis in the right apex and the right lung base. There was destruction of one of the lower left rib suggestive of bony metastasis.

While on Tarceva, Mark was told that initially the tumour had shrunk to about eighty percent of its initial size. Unfortunately this shrinkage did not last. After eight months of Tarceva (costing him approximately RM 64,000) it was clear that the treatment had failed.

Mark was told the disappointing news that the tumour had grown bigger again. Tarceva was not effective.

Bony Metastasis – Bonefos

In addition, the bony metastasis got worse. Mark was on Bonefos since his diagnosis and this medication cost about RM 400 per month.

Mark and his wife came to see us on December 2007. They wanted to know if by taking the herbs the tumour would shrink and how long would it take for the herbs to be able to do this. Honestly and frankly my respond was: I am sorry I don’t know.

Comments

Mark and his wife came to us to seek an assurance that herbs can help him. We have lung cancer patients who were told by their doctors that they only had six months to live, but after taking the herbs they went on to lead a normal life for another two to three years before they eventually succumb to the cancer.

A man with bone cancer was told: Go home and prepare your will. You only have six months to live. He declined Bonefos medication, took herbs and is still alive to this day – almost seven years now. However, it is absolutely wrong on our part to claim that herbs can cure cancer. Unfortunately when Mark came to see us, I was unable to provide him the guarantee that herbs can cure anything if that was what he and his wife came to see me for. I told them, we could only do our best to help.

I am reminded by what Randall Fitzgerald said (in The Hundred Years Lie):

  • For many people who grew by and dependent on technology and the laboratory drugs of Western medicine, breaking free of that paradigm or even considering the use of strange-sounding treatments from other cultures, requires a leap of faith.
  • For many of us, before we can discover natural healing alternatives, we must first experience the desperation of having exhausted the entire range of synthetic chemical remedies offered by modern medicine.

However, for some people even the experience of failure does not bring any message. The sad truth about advanced stage lung cancer is that there is no cure for it – not even with chemotherapy or Tarceva.

Stephen Spiro and Joanna Porter in an article: Lung cancer– where are we today? (American J. Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. 166:1166-1196, 2000), wrote that although chemotherapy may be a logical approach, there is virtually no evidence that it can cure NSCLC (non-small cell lung cancer).

Ronald Feld et al. (in Lung. Clinical Oncology. 2nd ed. Harcourt Asia) summed up the present scenario: Despite this large patient base for clinical trials, the role of systemic chemotherapy in the management of NSCLC remains one of the most controversial issues in medical oncology today.

Dr. Jeffrey Tobias and Kay Eaton (in Living with Cancer) were more explicit when they wrote

  • For patients with NSCLC …(treatment) in truth is likely to be more valuable for palliation of symptoms rather than a treatment with a real prospect of cure… a cure couldn’t realistically be attempted.
  • the early dramatic  response to chemotherapy is rarely beyond a year or two … perhaps six months later (there is) clear evidence of the return of the cancer.

What is Bonefos?

Bonefos is used in some cancers to reduce bone destruction that could result in bone pain and fractures. Its chemical name is Clodronate disodium belonging to a class of drugs called bisphosphonates. It stops the calcium from coming out of the bone which makes it weaker and hence increasing the risk of fractures and pain besides increasing calcium blood levels.  Nowhere is it stated that it cures bone cancer. And in this case, Bonefos was not effective.

What is Tarceva?

Go into the website and find some hard truth about this oral drug. According to the earalier company’s website,  (http://www.tarceva.net/survivalresults.aspx), Tarceva is the first and only oral HER1/EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor proven to significantly prolong survival. It significantly increased overall survival by 37% and demonstrated significant symptom benefits by prolonging the time to progression of symptoms.

This write-up is very impressive. But as always, let me caution patients to read information using some common sense. Ask what does increased survival by 37%  means in real term? The data presented by the company are as below:

  1. Median survival was 9.5 months with Tarceva versus 6.7 months with placebo.  In real terms Tarceva only increased survival by 2.8 months. Mathematically it is very correct to say that the increased survival due to Tarceva is 41.8%. Definitely 41.8% increased survival sounds very attractive indeed.
  2. Tarceva significantly prolonged progression-free survival (PFS) by 82%. The actual figures are: PFS 3.6 months with Tarceva versus 1.8 months with placebo.

Nowhere in the medical literature is there a claim that Tarceva cures lung cancer! Patients need to decide if it is worth spending RM 8,000 each month on medication that was shown to only prolong life by 2.8 months. In this case, Mark had already spent RM 64,000, and found out that Tarceva had failed him.

Lung Cancer: Why do a biopsy when you don’t want to go for chemotherapy?

SK (S123) is a 59-year-old lady from Indonesia. On 11 November 2011 she came to a private hospital in Penang for a general wellness check-up.  She did not have any symptoms. She was given a “booklet” containing the data of her health screening and was told by the doctor that she was healthy – no problems. The following are some of the information for us to study carefully.

  • The chest X-ray report showed both lungs are clear.
  • Ultrasound of abdomen indicated fatty liver.
  • Blood test results are as follows:

Parameters

ESR 42     High
Platelet 102   Low
Free T4 (ng/dl) 1.5    High
Free T4 (pmol/L) 19.3  High
Alanine transaminase 52      High
GGT 31
AST 37      High
Alkaline phosphatase 136

SK went home to Jakarta feeling satisfied and happy after being given a clean bill of health by the doctor. However, about three months later, SK developed fevers and breathing difficulties. She consulted a lung specialist in Jakarta and was hospitalized. There was fluid in her lungs. Pleural tapping was done. Four liters of fluid were tapped out of her lungs during the 5 days in the hospital. The doctor suggested a biopsy to be followed by chemotherapy or take an oral chemo-drug, Tarceva. SK refused. She was afraid of the side effects. The total cost for this hospital stay came to about 30 million Indonesian rupiahs.

SK came to a private hospital in Kuala Lumpur for a second opinion.  She was hospitalized for a week where a  CT scan and biopsy were performed. During that time too, another 700 ml of fluid was tapped out of her lungs. The report of the biopsy of her lung dated 28 February 2012 indicated a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma.

SK refused chemotherapy.  The doctor gave up and she was asked to go home. The total medical expenses in Kuala Lumpur came to RM 10,500.

On 28 February 2012 we received this e-mail.
Dear Mr. Chris,

My name is S. The doctor in Jakarta said my aunty has lung cancer stage 4. At the moment, we are in Kuala Lumpur (hospital). The result of biopsy will come out on Thursday or Friday, but the doctor said it’s seems advanced cancer. We would like to seek your help. Can we come to Penang without result or should we wait for the result? Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated

Thank you, best regards.

Reply:  Wait for the results and bring all the medical reports. No need to hurry. Come on Friday if you can, or Sunday night. See my website: www.cacare.com

Comments

Over the years, I have noticed a peculiarity about cancer patients, especially those from Indonesia.  They come to hospitals in Malaysia for a second opinion after being told that they have cancer by doctors in their home country. They undergo all the test, scans, biopsy, etc. Again they are told they have cancer. They refused treatment and pack their bags and go home. I cannot understand such behavior. If you do not want to do follow up treatment why do you proceed to do the biopsy? SK spent RM 10,500 and then she decided to go home without any treatment. Actually, even the CT scans done in Jakarta were indicative enough of her lung cancer. Why go the extra step and then quit half way? As I have said earlier, this happens very often!

Health or wellness screening is another phenomenon. Do you see the flaw of going for such check-up?  I wonder how helpful is such a screening procedure?  SK was told her health was in perfect condition in November 2011 after the check up. I, however, would disagree with that.   Her ESR was high, plantlet count was low and two of her liver enzymes were elevated. Her health was not perfect. There was something wrong somewhere? But the doctor said she was in perfect health! Can you believe that? What the doctor said might not be correct!

Three months later SK’s lungs were filled with fluid. The irony was three months earlier an X-ray showed her lungs were clear. How could that be? Are we to say that within three months from “nowhere” her lungs have grown so many tumours? Another question is  –  what could have caused her lung cancer? Could it be a metastasis from somewhere? I was curious and tried to find out more. SK told me that some eight years ago she had an operation to remove a 10-cm fibroid. I wondered aloud. Could that be cancerous, and she was not told about it? And now the lung cancer is actually a metastasis?  SK had been having coughs on and off for many years. Is this not an early sign of metastasis? My aunty also had chronic coughs for two years before a CT showed that her cervical cancer had metastatised extensively to her lungs. Unfortunately, SK is not educated and could not read much – she did not have any clue of what was happening to her.

Lung Cancer: Death is Not a Failure. He did not take a wrong healing path either!

On the night of 9 February 2012, we received this e-mail.

Dear Dr. Chris and Aunty Beng Im,

I want to inform you that my father, Mr. LS from Indonesia, had died on Thursday, 16 February 2012. I want to thank you for all your treatment to my father during his sickness. Until his last days, he still took your herbs and did the e-therapy. I believe that your herbs and the therapy do bring goodness to him. He died without suffering (no pain and no difficulty in breathing, and he died in his sleep). I believe that he is already happier right now, free from his sickness and rest in a peaceful place.

Thank you for remembering my father among your patients. We, as a family, are happy to know you also. You gave a medication, with a personal touch, that we hardly find anywhere else. We learn a lot from you about healthy life style.

Reply:  Dear K, A few minutes ago, after dinner, I asked my wife to write you and find out about your father. And now I have this news. Thank you for informing us. Please extend our sincere condolence to your whole family. Yes, sometime it is better to die and end all these sufferings and pain. Thank you again ~ Chris

Case History of LS

LS was a 71-yer-old man from Indonesia. In 2007, a chest X-ray showed a spot in his left lung. He did not do anything about it. In November 2010, LS did another chest X-ray and the spot was still there. He came to Melaka and did a CT scan on 15 November 2010. There was a speculated soft tissue lesion in the apex of the upper lobe of his left lung. It was 4.0 x 3.3 cm in size and was consistent with a lung carcinoma. A CT guided FNA biopsy was performed and confirmed that it was cancerous.  LS was asked to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He refused.   LS went to Singapore for a second opinion in February 2011. Another CT scan was done. The tumour had grown bigger to 40 x 35 x 45 mm. He refused further medical intervention and came to seek our help on 13 March 2011.

LS was subsequently prescribed herbs – Capsule A, Lung 1 and Lung 2 Teas.  In view of the cysts in both of his kidneys, LS was also prescribed Kidney Tea.

After his first visit, we got to see LS again in May and July of 2011. When he came he did not have any pains.  The only thing outstanding thing about him was that he was addicted to coffee. So we asked him to drink black coffee (without sugar!).  His daughter updated us about his condition via e-mails, example as below.

10 December 2011

Dear Aunty Beng Im,

Thank you very much for your kind reply. I appreciate very much for your suggestion about foods that will help my father. The doctor here is so amazed about my father’s condition, how he still can walk by himself (without wheelchair) and do the daily activities by himself (eat, shower, exercise, etc). They said in my father’s case, the patient cannot survive within a year. My father was first diagnosed in November last year (2010). We still believe that taking the herbs and the food controlling brings benefit to him, beside God’s care of course.

Here I give you a photo of my father (I captured it last week). He was writing Chinese calligraphy. My sister asked him to do it so he has something to do at home and he does not think about his disease. He has more spirit right now, even his both legs are swelling (because the albumin level is low).

Thank you once again for your care aunty. Please send our regards to Dr. Chris. So sorry we still cannot go to Penang, because my father still cannot travel far. Please support us in prayer aunty. Warm wishes ~ K and family.

1. Did LS take the wrong path for his healing? Or do you know of a better path?

LS died and he did not want to undergo the standard medical treatment. Perhaps some critics would say that he should have followed what his doctor recommended – go for chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I would have loved to ask LS what he would have done if he were to live his life again!

As I am writing this story, I remember  another case of lung cancer. This man – THK – is 57 years old and he was diagnosed with lung on 22 March 2011. The tumour was 20 x 24 x 22 mn in the upper lobe of his right lung (Note; LS had 40 x 35 x 45 mm) THK underwent 6 cycles of chemotherapy with Gemzar + Cisplatin (total cost about RM 50,000).  The treatment did not cure him. In fact the cancer became more aggressive. He was switched to oral chemo – Tarceva for three months. The PET scan showed further deterioration. He was asked to undergo 6 cycles of chemotherapy with the latest or newest drug, Alimta at RM 9,000 per cycle. THK received 2 cycle of Alimta and gave up. The tumour makers kept rising in spite of the treatment. On 4 January 2012, his CEA was at 666.5 and CA 19.9 was 4,422.0.  In short, the treatment failed miserably. THK concluded he was on the wrong path and came to seek our help on 3 February 2012.

2.  Can chemotherapy and radiotherapy cure your lung cancer? The following are the answers.

3.  They say do nothing is better than spending a lot of money to do something and get no meaningful result!

Lung Cancer Stage 4, Open-Close Surgery. Six Months to Live. She Refused Chemo and Took Herbs for Three and Half Years Now

SC (H222) was 68 years old when her problem started. She is a non-smoker. She started to have coughs for the past six months. There were no other symptoms apart from the right scapular (shoulder blade) pain she experienced.  A CT scan on 4 September 2008 showed a  3.0 x 4.75 x 3.0 cm opacity in the lateral segment of the right middle lobe of her lungs, suggestive of a neoplastic mass.

Bronchial brushings showed moderately large neoplastic cells. Her blood test was normal, apart from a mildly elevated CEA (8.0).

SC underwent a CT scan of her brain and abdomen and these were normal. Her bone scan was negative for metastasis.

Her doctor suggested surgery since this was regarded as an early stage lung cancer, Stage 1B. Surgery was done on 29 September 2008 but it was aborted – an open and close case. The cancer had spread to the back of the chest wall and was now considered a Stage 4 lung cancer.

The doctor suggested chemotherapy and said that without this treatment she would only have six months to live. SC declined chemotherapy. Her sister died one year after undergoing surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy for her breast cancer.

SC came to seek our help on 18 October 2008 and was started on Capsule A, Lung 1 and Lung 2 teas.

Listen to what her daughter told us after a year (6 December 2009) on the herbs.

We were in constant contact via e-mail with patient’s daughter.

13 December 2011

Hi Im, Prof Chris,

I am at my wits end trying to see how else to ease Mom’s pain.   We are trying acupuncture currently, three sessions so far but she said the pain is still as bad.   Last week she had a very bad palpitation which lasted for almost 7 hours.   And it happened again today though not as long as the previous time.   The pain must have been really bad as she is talking about dying.

7 February 2012

Prof Chris,

Apart from the pain and lack of strength, Mum looks okay and can eat moderately. Should I bring Mum up to see you again?

Reply:  Do you think you can persuade mom to try the machine again. If you can come and stay for a few days we can use the machine for pain. See this website www.PainAndWellness.org . This website concentrates on pain cases. We seem to be having good results but I don’t know why mom is reluctant to use it. There must be a reason for this fear? I really don’t have any other way to help with her pain besides the Pain Tea. If she agrees, why not give a try again. But it all depends if she agrees to use it or not.

Thanks Prof Chris,

I talked to Mom again about coming up to Penang to do the e-therapy again.  She did not resist the idea.  When would it be convenient to you for us to come up to see you?

Patient came to Penang to receive six days of e-therapy (from 13 to 18 February 2012). She benefited from the treatment! Her improvements could be seen in her face! We are glad that she took the challenge to come to Penang and try the e-Therapy.

Permission to use this video without having to mask her face is granted by her daughter.

Lung Cancer from USA – Repairing the Unrepairable?

LCG was a 46 year-year-old lady from New Jersey, USA. Let us call her Irene. Irene’s problem started with a cough some five years ago and this was diagnosed as due to lung cancer in late September 1997.  At that time the right upper lobe of the lung had numerous tumours which had spread to the nearby lymph nodes and mediastinal.

From January to April 1998 she had chemotherapy – taxol and carboplatin, for five times. The tumour disappeared almost totally. In November 1998 the tumour reappeared. She underwent monoclonal clinical trial using PNU but it was not successful. Then she had chemotherapy again and this time with “Gemzar” once a week. The right lung collapsed and she had difficulty breathing.

5 August 1999. Irene’s brother came to see Yeong  and presented her  conditions as follows:

  • had an average of 6 hours sleep a day.
  • felt tired, especially when taking a short walk.
  • the CEA was 26.7
  • had coughs with clear, sticky white foam in the morning and night, and also when moving around or walking.
  • there was fluid in the lungs causing a choking feel – unable to climb.
  • had pain in the right shoulder, spinal cord and ribs when coughing too much.

She was prescribed Capsule A, deTox, Lung, Cough 5 and Ascites.

e-mail 27 August 1999 to her brother:

  • have started taking the herbs.
  • seems to feel pretty good – more energy.
  • my pain seems to have reduced a little.
  • I am also able to breathe better.
  • I am pretty weak but am not giving up hope yet. I know God knows what He is doing and when to take me home. I am ready and know where I will go.
  • Do write and I will try to write back as long as my energy permits me to do so.

e-mail 2 September 1999 to her brother:

  • The herbs that Dr. Teo gave me seems to work pretty good for me. I do not have much side effects from the chemo.
  • I have stopped taking the Noni Juice and Spess since I started taking Dr. Teo’s herbs.
  • Saw my oncologist yesterday – he said I looked good.
  • Started to put on some weight – Now I am up to 85 lb instead of 80 lb.
  • I am still coughing a lot and still have fluid in my lungs – it covered my whole right lung.
  • I wish I could get rid of it so that I can make a trip home to see you all. At this moment, I am advised not to travel (in the plane it will cause the fluid to move around and choke me to death).
  • I am also able to breathe better and sleep better.
  • I pray each day and night to get better to allow me one last chance to go home and see you guys.
  • Will be going back for chemo again on Monday. Feel better about the chemo now cos the herbs help me to cope with the side effects and I don’t feel so bad after each chemo.

e-mail 10 May 2000 to Chris:

  • My CEA was around 28 and later went up to 69. Just last week my CEA was 4.1. The value gradually decreased since the last couple of months.
  • My right lung was originally filled with fluid (no shadow at all!) and also collapsed.
  • My last CT scan about two months ago showed a shrinkage in my tumour size from 12/6/4 cm to 2×3.5 cm. Praise the Lord for this miracle.
  • At present I weigh about 110 lb. I was down to 75lb (actually 80 lb ?) when I first took the your herbs but gradually my appetite increased and I began to gain weight.
  • I volunteered as a Patient Support in the American Cancer Society here in New Jersey. I visit cancer patients at their homes and the hospitals. Praise the Lord for giving me this opportunity. Being a volunteer since my diagnosis helps me a lot. It gives hope and also (the comfort that) I am not alone. I promised myself to make a difference in someone’s life each day!

e-mail  10 July 2000 to Chris:

Just to update you a little. I have lately been travelling a lot. Been to New York for the annual cancer society meeting, on vacation to London, Holland, Niagara Falls, etc. Trying to make the best out of whatever time God has given me. Really enjoy myself, not even thinking I was sick at all. Put on a wig and nobody even knows I do not have hair or I am sick whenever I am out travelling.

The next few months I will be very busy with my lung cancer support group. This new lung cancer support group that I formed will meet every month where patients shared info, tears, joy, laughter and latest treatments on lung cancer both conventional and alternative.

Our comments

When I eceived the first visit form from Irene, my heart bled. How to help in this case – almost beyond repair? Then, to us – of all the female names in the world, the most beautiful is: Irene… our daughter is also named Irene!

Despair, however, did not last that long – slowly but surely the good Lord changes the equation. Irene began to feel well and her last e-mail was the ultimate. Hi there, Irene – you are having fun now!

Our advice to Irene: Make the best of life, but stay on course – do not make the mistake of changing your life style, away from the one that brought healing to you. Don’t be misled that everything is all over. Another mistake can be fatal. We always believe: it is excusable to be foolish once but not twice.

Friends, what do you think is the reason behind Irene’s healing? Medically, this is a touch and go case. We are not sure of the truth in this statement but we were told that the doctor expected her to live for only three months!  But since it is God who decides not man, Irene got to live much longer than expected – to tell her own story to the world. Is it the chemo – the gemzar (gemcitabine) that cured her? You are welcome to your own opinion.

Lung Cancer: More than two years on herbs and no chemo!

NH (H-176) is a 82-year-old lady. Sometime in April 2009, she had coughs with white phlegm. She was given cough mixture to take. The problem was not resolved. On 19 October 2009 she went to a private hospital for further management. A CT scan indicated:

  • A lesion measuring 1.5 x 2.7 cm at the apical segment of the right lower lobe of her lung.
  • A solitary enlarged lymph node in the middle mediastinum measuring 1 x 1.3 cm.
  • Minimal bilateral pleural effusion.
  • Three low-attenuation lesions in the spleen.

NH was given a week of antibiotics. This was not effective. Subsequently the family was told that she had lung cancer. Due to her old age, neither the doctor nor the family were interested in any follow-up treatment. NH and her family came to seek our help on 23 October 2009. She presented with:

  • Being unable to sleep at times.
  • Bowel movements were difficult – 3 days once.
  • She coughed once a while.
  • She lacked strength.

NH was prescribed Capsule A, Lung 1 and 2, and Constipation teas. After a week on the herbs, her son reported that his mother’s condition had improved. Her coughs were reduced, she was more energetic and there was no more constipation.

We never get to see NH after that although we noted that her son did come to our centre regularly to collect herbs for her.  On 20 January 2012 – i.e. 2 years and 3 months later – NH came to our centre with her son.

In a Nutshell – Our Advice to Cancer Patients

I know it is very confusing when people start giving you all kinds of “expert advices.” There would be well-meaning relatives and friends who come and give their opinions. I use to tell patients, Yesterday these people know nothing about cancer, but today they turn “experts” telling you what to do. Instant experts are just like instant noodle – are junks.

When I first started CA Care, I must admit I know nothing about cancer. My knowledge about cancer was “absolute zero.” With time, and with lots of reading and listening to many patients, I learn a lot.

Let me share with what I know briefly.

  • If you have cancer KNOW that no one on earth can guarantee a cure. At best, it is a remission and the cancer can come back again – months or years later.
  • What seems a realistic aim is to be able to live a quality life – to be as normal and healthy as possible knowing that cancer cells may be still in your body. Let us learn to live with our own cancer cells.
  • In general, it appears that neither modern medicine nor alternative medicine can claim great success – at most a 30 to 40% success rate. What do I mean by success rate? I don’t know and I don’t think anyone honest enough would also know. Anyway, 60 to 70% of cancer patients would, unfortunately, be left high and dry – often abandoned. I see many of such cases.
  • You have THREE options for your cancer management:

OPTION ONE: seek only treatments offered by modern medicine i.e. surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc. Good bonus: YOU CAN EAT WHAT YOU LIKE and also continue with your old lifestyle. Literature says some people suffer badly from the side effects – vomiting, botak (bald) and later suffer possible damage to liver, kidney, heart, etc. Some people may even die from the treatments themselves rather than the cancer. There are the so-called scientific methods – the path that many would follow without questioning or thinking.

Listen to the video of our patient and also our friend.

OPTION TWO: seek alternative medicine without aggressive procedures. This is just as good or bad as there are good and bad apples. If the healer promises you a cure or you need to spend plenty of money for the procedure – be careful! He may be after your money not your cancer. For reasons only known to themselves most doctors consider this QUACKERY.

OPTION THREE: seek complementary therapy. This is marrying one and two above. Adopt the best of both worlds. Reject procedures what do not make sense to you or are too aggressive. This is what we do at CA Care. Unfortunately taking this path is no honeymoon. You need to work for your healing. You need to change your diet and your old lifestyle. It does not make sense to continue polluting and abusing your body further after it has been cleanse. We advocate this path and we also end up being called a QUACK. We hear comments like: Cancer patients can eat anything they like except herbs. Some even told their patients – Take herbs only after all the medical treatments that we give you do not work! You see Chris Teo – you die because you cannot eat what you like. So be it.

Ignorance kills! Kiasus don’t always win either. Make your choice and please yourself.

Lung-Liver Cancer: Why Patient Refused to Undergo Chemotherapy, Part 4

This is an interesting e-mail we received on 16 December 2011.

Hi Mr. Chris,

Good Day, I’m H from Tanjung Pinang – Indonesia. I’ve visited you in 2007 when my late father suffered from Liver Cancer. However we did not revisit you since our first visit. Frankly I thank you for your help to heal my father. My father passed away in October 2008. I have faith and believe in you to help cancer patients.

Now my friend’s father suffers from lung cancer. His condition is very weak. According to the doctor, maybe he will only live for six months. Now his family decided to seek your help. And will visit you as soon as possible.

Since his condition is too weak, is there any possibility of not to bring him (patient) to visit you in Penang?

His son will bring his medical report and visit you in Penang. If the patient must come along, we will have to wait until his condition is better and pay you a visit. Now he has no appetite. So the condition is not good.

Hope you can understand our situation and give us your advice.

Thank You & Warmest Regards,

The writer of the e-mail and his friend came to our centre in Penang three days later, on 19 December 2011.

Guan (S-82) is a 58-year-old man from Indonesia. After having coughs for about two months, he went to see a doctor in his hometown. An X-ray was taken. The doctor suspected pneumonia with mass in his lung. Guan then went to a private hospital in Johor for further consultation. A CT scan done on 6 December 2011 indicated cancer in his right lung that had spread to his liver. There were also right pleural effusion and pericardial effusion.

Guan then went to Singapore where a biopsy was performed. This cost him about S$1,500 but the results were not definitive and rather puzzling.  This is what the doctor’s report looks like.

After the biopsy, the doctor suggested chemotherapy. He was told that with chemotherapy he would be able to live for another two years. Without chemotherapy, he would only have six months. His family refused to undergo any chemo. And the son said he would not even bother to ask how much the treatment would cost.

Why did the family refuse chemotherapy?

The friend who accompanied the patient’s son said, “My friend’s father also had lung cancer. He was around 50 years old. He underwent chemotherapy in Singapore. He died after receiving one cycle of chemotherapy.”

Chris:  What you have done was not right at all. If you have already decided not to go for chemo, why did you go for the biopsy in the first place? The procedure cost you money. It was just a waste of money doing the procedure if you did not intend to proceed to the next step. Also some patients told me that after a biopsy they suffer pains. Besides that some people say a biopsy can spread the cancer further. But for the CT scan, it is okay to do it once to know what is inside.

Friend: “Another friend of mine – he was about 30 years old. He had bone cancer. He went for surgery in China. He received one cycle of chemo. The doctor asked him to quickly go home. One week later he was dead.

Comment

I have only one comment to make in this case.  According to the good doctor the patient need to do chemo so that he would live longer – for another two years. Without chemo the patient would probably be dead by six months. But to the family members they have seen what happened to their two friends. Both of them died after just a shot of chemo. Perhaps to live six months without chemo is better than trying his luck on the deadly chemo. How trustworthy is the doctor’s prognosis?

Let me close by quoting what I have read in this book, “Doctors in general should be treated with the same degree of trust as used-car salesman.”

Utero-Ovary-Lung Cancer, Part 2: Hope: After Three Days on Herbs While in the Hospital

It was a great surprise indeed that on the morning of 20 December 2011, the patient, accompanied by her doctor friend and family members, came to CA Care. Patient was discharged from the hospital the day before and this morning they flew to Penang.

Hear this miraculous story yourself.

Acknowledgment: Permission to use videos and pictures without having to mask the patient’s face is granted by the family.

Chris: Oo, you are the one who came to see me last week – you said your mother was in Methodist Hospital in Medan?

Daughter: Yes, yes. Mother was hospitalized for about 12 days. Immediately after being discharged we all flew here.

Wah, there are so many people?

D: All our family members. Mom has many children. And that one is mom’s brother. And this one is our good friend and she is a medical doctor.

You came to see me on 14 December 2011. And I gave you some herbs. Did your mom take them?

D: Yes. I gave her the herbs starting on 15 December until now. She has taken the herbs for five days already.

(Turning to patient) After taking the herbs for 5 days, how did you feel?

Patient:  I feel good – more comfortable. I did not have to use the oxygen anymore.

Brother: Before the herbs, she was breathless and needed oxygen to breathe. After taking the herbs for 3 days she was not breathless anymore.

D: I did not tell the doctor that mom was taking herbs. I did not give mom all those pills that the doctor prescribed. I just gave mom your herbs. But those medication given by injections, they were continued as usual because that was beyond my control.

B: The doctor was surprised. He said it was a miracle (that she could recover).

D: Yes, after taking the herbs, mom did not have to use oxygen anymore. Her lungs had less fluid. Before that she was gasping for breath (showing like a fish gasping for air).  Initially after taking the herbs, mom moved her bowels three to four times.

Yes, very good. That is what we want.

D: We were worried if something had gone wrong. But she still continued to take the herbs.

(Turning to patient) Ibu, do you have any problem taking those herbs?

D: Bitter!

P: But I have no difficulty drinking them.

After taking the herbs for a few days, did you not experience some “difficulties” (healing crisis)?

P: No, I felt better, No difficulty at all

So when you were in the hospital, you only took the herbs?

D: Yes, I cooked the herbs at home and brought them to the hospital.

Ibu, now how do you feel?

P: Blank … empty. I cannot urinate. This is my main problem now. I feel my bladder full.

D: Her legs have no strength.

But after taking the herbs, do you still have breathing difficulties?

P: No problem.

Lung Cancer: Surgery, No Chemo But On Herbs – CEA Elevated After Bad Diet

Jan (M471) is a 55-year-old male from Indonesia.  He is an ex-smoker of 40 plus years. Sometime in mid-2008 he had coughs. There was no blood in his sputum. He went to Melaka for a checkup. A CT scan indicated cancer of the lung. Not satisfied he came to Penang for a second opinion.

A colonoscopy, done on 20 September 2008, indicated haemorrhoids and presence of polyps in the colon and rectum. Biopsy of the colonic polyp indicated tubular adenoma associated with moderate dysplasia, while the polyp from rectum was hyperplastic.

CT scan of the thorax indicated a small irregular 1.7 x 1.7 x 1.6 cm nodule. The paratracheal, carinal and right hilar lymph nodes were enlarged ranging from 1 to 3 cm.  Impression: Features are suspicious of underlying early carcinoma of lung.

Jan underwent an operation to remove the tumour in his lung. He was told he had a 85 to 90 percent of cure if he had surgery. Histopathology report confirmed a moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, pT1N1Mx, Stage 2A. Surgical margins were free of malignancy. The total cost of his medical treatment came to about RM 35,000.

Jan was asked to undergo chemotherapy. He refused and came to seek our help on 8 October 2008. He was prescribed Capsule A, C-tea, Lung 1 and Lung 2 tea and GI 1 tea.

About a month later, 14 November 2008, Jan came back to see us again. He said he felt healthier and his sleep was better. He was asked to undergo chemotherapy. The doctor said chemotherapy can cure him. He declined.

Jan is from a small town in Sumatera. It is a long travel to come to Penang from his home. From home he has to take a 3-hour-bus-ride to a town where he would have to take another 24-hour-bus-ride to Medan. From Medan he has to fly to Penang. In spite of this long journey, Jan come to see us regularly.  On most visits to us, Jan said he was well and healthy with no complaints. His CEA decreased from the initial 133.66 (before surgery) to 27.6 (after two years on herbs). However, on 21 October 2010, Jan was jolted by the sudden rise of his CEA from 27.6 to 83.12 (See table). We were disappointed too. What had gone wrong? From experience we could roughly guess the answer. We asked him, “What did you eat wrong these past month?”

Bad diet – ate meat, fried food and tau sar paw
4 Dec 2010

Jan admitted that since he was doing fine, he did not keep to his diet very well. He ate the food that we asked him to avoid such as meat, fried food and “tau sar pow” (bun made form sweet beans boiled in pork lard). He used corn oil for his cooking instead of coconut oil. We explained to Jan we did not know the cause of the rise in his CEA – it could be due to the problem of his colon since he had polyps or it could be due to his lungs. Anyway, the only option is to go back to his good diet again. Jan promised to do just that. About a month later, the CEA dropped to 75.58 only to increase again to 93.97 in March 2011. However, in August 2011 his CEA was down to 57.9. With this decrease Jan seemed to believe that diet is important for his wellbeing.

Overall, Jan’s health was alright. It has been three years since his lung surgery. And he declined chemotherapy and opted for herbs instead. Up to this day, he is able to eat, sleep and do his routine activities without any problem. It did not matter if the CEA was at 93.97 or 57.9 – these numbers did not make any difference in terms of his wellbeing. In short, his quality of life has been maintained through his cancer journey, minus the chemo of course.

Acugraph Study

The AcuGraph taken on 26 August 2011 showed improvements – a more balanced meridian reading compared to the one take on 22 October 2010 (below).

Some questions for you to reflect on:

  1. After surgery Jan refused to undergo chemotherapy in spite of being asked to do so by his doctor. What happened to him now? What could have happened if he was to undergo chemotherapy? Will he be as well as he is today?
  2. After the surgery, his CEA dropped from 133 to 51 and then to 27 – and he was only on herbs and “good” diet. Do you believe that herbs and diet are effective in keeping his cancer at bay? Or do you prefer toxic drugs to do the job?
  3. Jan started to take “bad” food after two years of being in good health. His CEA shot up to 83. He realized his mistake and started to go on his “good” diet again. After six months his CEA went down to 58. Do you still insist that cancer patients can eat anything they like and that food has nothing to do with cancer progression and/or recurrence?
  4. From October 2010 to March 2011, Jan’s CEA hovered around 76 to 94. In spite of that he felt well. His wellbeing was not affected by either a high or low CEA.  What does this tell you? Learn to live with your cancer! Don’t let the lab test numbers make you sick!

Breast Cancer: Herbs and e-Therapy Restored Her Wellbeing After 106 Times of Radiation Treatments Part 4: Radiation Helped but Did Not Cure, Tamoxifen Disastrous

Acknowledgment: Permission to use this video without having to hide her identity is granted by the patient.

This is a bitter-sweet story of Le, a 37-year-old female from Indonesia. She came to us on 14 October 2011 after having been diagnosed with breast cancer that had probably spread to her lungs. She had undergone 106 radiation treatments besides taking a variety of supplements. She presented with aches and pains throughout her body, especially the joints. She could not bend her fingers.  She could not sleep well and she had coughs.

You did radiotherapy – how many times of radiation did they give you? Le: One hundred and six.

Are you sure? Is that correct? Le: Sure, correct. I received 25 treatments on my left breast (a), then another 25 times below my collarbone (b). Another lump appeared on my right breast and I again had 25 treatments for my right breast (c). Then they radiated my ovaries – that was done for six times. The cancer spread again to my left breast and I again had 25 treatments (d). Actually I have just completed the 106th treatment a few days ago. Then I came here.

You got one treatment a day, so this means you have been going to the hospitals for at least 106 times then? Le: Yes.

Do you want some more radiation? Le: Oh no. I don’t want anymore. That is why I came here. Every time I went for radiation, I prayed, “O god please help me to stop this radiation treatment”.

While undergoing radiation, you were told to take Tamoxifen? Le: Yes, before they radiated my right breast. Husband: About three months ago, around August 2011.

So in August 2011, you started taking Tamoxifen and at the same time had radiation? Le: Yes and ten days after taking Tamoxifen my left wrist swelled. It was a soft swelling – not hard. Then my right wrist also swelled. This was bigger than the one on my left wrist. I had pain when I bent my wrists.

Did you ask the doctor why this swelling? Le: The doctor said the cancer had spread to my wrists. Husband: No, the doctor said the cancer had spread to all her bones.

And you still continued to take the Tamoxifen? Le: Yes. Then within a month, I lost my strength. Husband: The swellings in her wrists were “hot”. Le: Every joint  in my body felt “hot”.  After a month of taking Tamoxifen I was not able to walk.

You couldn’t walk? Le: Yes, I could not walk (demonstrate her physical disability).

Before you took the Tamoxifen, were you able to walk? Le: Okay, no problem. I could exercise and do the “Thian Kung”. Husband: After taking Tamoxifen, she could not walk.

Then what did you do? Le: I took supplements and drank coconut water. The situation improved.

Did you become normal again physically? Le: No, not until I came here (CA Care Penang). After I took your herbs and did the e-Therapy, I can now stand up straight. Before this I could not do this.

This is a bitter-sweet story of Le, a 37-year-old female from Indonesia. She came to us on 14 October 2011 after having been diagnosed with breast cancer that had probably spread to her lungs. She presented with aches and pains throughout her body, especially the joints. She could not bend her fingers.  She could not sleep well and she had coughs.

1.  My 42-year-old friend with breast cancer died after chemotherapy

Le:  My friend also had breast cancer like me. She died after two years. She went to Singapore to find the best medicine for her breast cancer. It started with just a tiny tumour. She had it removed and then underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She was okay. Then the cancer spread to her bones. They installed a chemo-port in her and she continued to receive more chemo. She took the best “bird nests”  to help her cope with the side effects of chemo. After this chemo, there were spots all over her skin.

Are you sure? Was she you friend?  Le: Yes. Even with such effects she continued to receive more chemos. In total she had 38 cycles of chemotherapy. After that she looked okay, okay but her nails were all dark. Then the cancer went to her backbone and spread to her brain. Then she continued with radiotherapy and more chemo in Surabaya. She died.

How old was she? Le: Forty-two.

I fully understand, I understand.

2.  Four of my friends already died after medical treatments

Le: Four of my friends already died of cancer. Two of them had breast cancer, one had colon cancer and the other one had cancer of the uterus.

They were all your friends? Le: Yes, they died. They were all below their 50s. And they all had operation and chemotherapy.

They all died, and because of this you decided not to go for an operation and chemo? When did this happen – while you had your cancer? Le: When I had my breast cancer and they also had their cancers.

Oh, at the same time. They took a different road and you took a different path? Le: Yes, exactly.

I understand. I fully understand you. That is the reason why I did not want to push anybody who come here to go for chemo or radiation. The stories you have told me are being repeated over and over.

3. Uncle died after spending 6 Billion Rupiahs

Le:  My uncle had lung cancer. He went to Singapore for treatment. In all, he spent 6 miliar (billion) rupiahs. He also died. After so many chemos, even the veins in his arm seemed to disappear. He did not take care of his diet. He ate anything he liked. At the same time, I also had my cancer. He told me to eat what I liked but I refused to listen to his advice.

And your uncle died? Le: Yes, died after three years.

And at the same time, you also had your cancer. And is it because of this that you did not want to go for medical treatment? Le: No, no. There is a feeling inside me wanting to reject chemo.  These people did not die because of their cancers. They died because of their chemos. Their haemoglobin, platelets and white blood cells were all down and gone!

I understand you, I truly understand. But what I want to say is we should not totally reject medical treatments. At times we need the doctors to help us. We can use certain things that doctors do to help us. And we can reject those that are harmful to us. This is what I would tell patients.

 4.  See what happened to me now when I believed the doctor!

Le: I would agree to go to the doctors to check where my tumour is. But if they prescribe medication, I would not take it. See this is what happened to me  – this is the evidence! This is the first time I believed the doctor and this is what I get (figures unable to bend and later unable to walk after taking Tamoxifen for a month).

She presented with aches and pains throughout her body, especially the joints. She could not bend her fingers.  She could not sleep well and she had coughs.

You found a tumour in your breast in February 2009. Did you ever felt the lump before that? Le: I went to the Cancer Organisation for a Pap smear in 2003. At the same time they also examined my breasts and told me to come back for check up  a year later.

What did they say about your breasts? Le: There was a small lump in my breast but the doctor said it was not cancerous – only something suspicious. I was asked to come back to a reexamination after a year.

You did not go back to see them again? In 2004? In 2005 and 2006? Le: No, I did not go back to see them. I received a letter from the Cancer Organisation in 2007, reminding me to come for a check up. I also did not go back to see them.

What did you do in 2008? And what about 2009? Le: In 2008, I did nothing. In 2009, I felt a lump in my left breast while I was lying down in bed. I used to examine my breasts while bathing. I did not feel any lump.

Was there any retraction of the nipple? Any discharge? Any pain? Le: No, nothing.

What did you do after you found this lump? Le: I went to consult an oncologist. After an ultrasound he told me there was a 80 percent chance that the lump was a cancer. The possibility of it being a benign tumour was 20 percent. I was asked to do a biopsy. I refused to do anything at all.

You were told that the lump was cancerous and you declined medical treatment – then what did you do?

Husband: She started to take vitamins and supplements.  Le:  I took supplements and stopped eating meat but I still ate organic chicken.

Oh, chicken is not meat? Right? Le: (no reply, quiet and embarrassed).

After you took supplements, did the tumour not grow bigger and bigger? Husband: Yes, it grew as big as my fist.

When you discovered the lump, what was the size? Le: Size of my thumb.

Okay, after taking the supplements, and supplements and supplements … did the tumour grow bigger and bigger?   Le: Yes. It grew to the size of a duck’s egg.

Oh, you took supplements and the tumour grew bigger – were you not afraid? Le: I was afraid. Husband: Afraid to die.

Le: In November 2009, I came to Kuala Lumpur for a check up. The oncologist told me he was 100 percent sure that the tumour was a cancer. He asked me to do a biopsy and then go for an operation. I refused and returned to Surabaya.

Why did you ever come to Kuala Lumpur in the first place if you didn’t want to follow the doctor’s advice? Le: I just went for a check up.

What is there to check up? In Surabaya you were told the lump was probably – 80 percent cancerous. And in Kuala Lumpur you were told it was probably 100 percent cancer. What is the whole idea of coming to KL? Waste of money? Le: In Februay 2011, I went to see an alternative practitioner. Husband: She also took other types of capsules besides the supplements.

What did the alternative practitioner do? Le: He tapped the area around my breast. He also gave me some herbs to drink. I did not know what these herbs were. After one month on his treatment, the tumour grew bigger and it eventually burst.

When he saw the tumour growing bigger, what did he say to you? Le: He asked me to go for radiation. But I refused.

Did he warn you that the tumour might just burst? Le: Yes, he did tell me that without radiation the tumour could burst. But I refused to go for radiation.

What happened after the tumour burst? Le: The alternative practitioner wrote me a referral letter to go to the hospital for radiotherapy.

And you still did not want to go for radiation? Le: This time I agreed for go for radiation.

Cost of Alternative Therapy

How much did you have to pay for all these alternative therapies? Le: A lot of money.

How much is a lot? Le: I took a lot of supplements. Husband: For taking this supplement alone it cost 700,000 rupiahs per bottle per day. Le: That is RM 250 per bottle per day.

How many bottles have you consumed? Le: Hundreds.  Husband: She was taking this for about six months. Le: No, I took it for about a year. For one month this supplement cost me twenty-one million rupiahs.

You spent twenty-one million per month for this supplement and you took this for a year? Le: Yes.

Breast Cancer: Herbs and e-Therapy Restored Her Wellbeing After 106 Times of Radiation Treatments Part 1: Well Being Restored After Two Days on Herbs and e-Therapy

It all began with a small lump in my left breast. I ignored it. Some years later, I went to see an oncologist. He asked me to undergo a biopsy and later operate. I declined. I opted for alternative therapy. I took all kinds of supplements (See Part 2: Alternative Therapies  –  My Twenty-One- Million-Rupiah Per Month Treatment).

The lump grew bigger and eventually burst. It was then that I went to see a radiologist and underwent radiotherapy. I had my first radiation treatment in November 2009. I received 25 treatments for my left breast. The tumour shrunk and eventually disappeared.

Three months later, another lump grew just below my neck. It grew bigger and bigger. I again received another 25 radiation treatments for this. The lump also disappeared after the treatment.

Four months later, two more tumours appeared, one on each of my breasts. I again received 25 radiation treatments for each of my left and right breasts.

I also received 6 radiation treatments for my ovaries.

While on radiotherapy, another lump appeared just below my left collar bone but this eventually disappeared after I completed the radiation treatment for my two breasts. However, now I have another lump in my abdomen.

While undergoing the later stage of radiotherapy, I took Tamoxifen.  After two weeks on Tamoxifen my fingers became stiff and it was difficult and painful to bend them. After a month on Tamoxifen I was unable to walk. Also, my neck muscles became stiff.  Before the Tamoxifen I was agile and had no mobility problems. I could exercise. I stopped taking Tamoxifen after a month. My doctor told me the cancer had gone to my bones.

Early this month, a good friend in Makassar called me. She advised that I have had too much radiation already and my body would not be able to accept it anymore. I should look for other alternative treatment. But all this while, I had been on alternative treatments. I took all kinds of supplements. My friend suggested that I go to Penang and meet a Chris Teo.

The above is a bitter-sweet story of Le, a 37-year-old female from Indonesia. She came to us on 14 October 2011 after having been diagnosed with breast cancer that had probably spread to her lungs. She presented with aches and pains throughout her body, especially the joints. She could not bend her fingers.  She could not sleep well and she had coughs.

Le was prescribed Capsule A, Breast L and Breast M teas, Pain tea, Lung 1 and Lung 2 teas besides Cough # 10. She was put on the e-Therapy with Detox #2. That was on Friday evening.

On Sunday night (two days later), Le came back and reported as follows.

I went back to my apartment and slept through the night, from 7 pm to 6 am. I woke up just to eat and drink the herbal teas and then went back to sleep again.

Before this therapy, were you able to sleep? Le: Difficult.

On Saturday (no e-Therapy but only on herbs) did you sleep through the day? Le: Yes. I slept, woke up to eat and then went back to sleep again. I ate corn and fruits.

When you were at home, could you sleep like this? Le: No. At home when I woke up from sleep, I would feel pains. Now, I have no more pain. I could sleep in any position or posture, I had no pain. I was unable to do such a thing when I was at home.

Did you really sleep well – soundly? Le: Yes. I also passed out a lot of “gas” … boot, boot. I would walk to and fro from Kenny’s apartment to the market. I did not have any problem walking. I could not do such thing at home. I would become breathless if I walk like that.

Now, when you walk, did you become breathless? Le: No. Now, I can also hold the broom and sweep the floor. I can now make my bed and fold the blanket. I could not do that before. I could not even lift the blanket let alone fold it. This morning, I even “hit” the pillows.

Now, what other problems do you have? Le: Coughs. Before, I was not able to twist my body around – to the right or left. I would have muscle pull or cramp. Now, no more cramps. After taking the herbs for two days, there are no more body pains.

No more pain anywhere? Le: No more.

So, for the past two days, do you really feel well? Le: Yes. Strong (taking a deep breath).

Do you have any other problem? Le: Only cough now.

More Energetic After the e-Therapy

Gu (M956) is a 59-year-old male from Indonesia. In early March 2010, he had coughs with blood in his sputum. He also became breathless. A CT-scan of the thorax on 25 March 2010 indicated:

  • A moderate right pleural effusion, associated with collapse of right lower lobe of his lung.
  • While there was no obvious enhancing lung mass seen, the possibility of an occult isodense mass should be considered.
  • The right upper lobe of his lung had patchy opacities, likely due to underlying infective changes.
  • Incidental finding of a 2.3 x 1.6 cm right thyroid nodule with peripheral calcification.
  • Focal erosion with surrounding sclerosis of the left L1 vertebral body. Underlying infection / tuberculous infection or metastatic deposits should be considered.

Gu underwent a pleural tapping. After the removal of this fluid, he felt better. Gu was scheduled to under an endoscopy to further define his problem.  The family was told it could be a Stage 4 cancer. In this case, he would be asked to undergo chemotherapy. Since, everyone in the family is against chemotherapy, Gu decided not to continue with this medical examination.

Gu and his family came to us for help. We prescribed Capsule A, Lung 1 and Lung 2 tea, Lung Phlegm and Bone tea. At the same time, Gu underwent three sessions of e-Therapy. His felt more energetic after the therapy.
