Patient is a 56 year-old-female from Medan, Indonesia. Sometime in March-April 2012, she had abdominal pains followed by bleeding. She had nausea with bloating of her abdomen. The doctor in Medan diagnosed it as cervical cancer. Patient came to a private hospital in Penang because she was unable to pass urine. She was told that this was due to the swelling of her kidney. A catheter was installed. She was then referred to a gynaecologist who told her that her cancer had spread to her bladder.
CT report dated 27 April 2012 indicated: Multiple simple renal cortical cysts seen bilaterally. Moderate right hydronephrosis and hydroureter as well as mild left hydronephrosis and hydroureter seen. Grossly distended urinary bladder. Fuzzy, irregular cervical edges noted. Impression: 1. Grossly distended urinary bladder with bilateral urinary tracts ? back pressure. 2. Fuzzy, irregular cervical edges. Suggest gynaecological assessment.
A biopsy was done and the histopathology report dated 28 April 2012 indicated: Poorly differentiated non keratinising squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix infiltrating the cervical stroma.
Patient was then referred her to an oncologist. The oncologist suggested radiotherapy. Patient and her family refused the treatment and returned to Medan. Patient was told to return of Penang again after three months. However, after a month and a week at home, she was unable to urinate again. The problem was resolved after the previously installed catheter was replaced. Nevertheless, patient suffered pains, nausea and vomiting. She was unable to move her bowels for the past five days and then her urination was blocked again. An attending doctor had to change a catheter to resolve her problems.
1. Found CA Care
Her children surfed the net for help and found CA Care. They wrote (translated from Bahasa Indonesia):

a) Sometimes she had fevers (hot-cold) and even chills and shivered.
b) She had no strength to stand up. Today she fell.
c) She passed out blood-red urine with tiny clots – could be blood clots.
d) A part of her stomach felt hot.
e) Her whole body ached.
We request information from Dr. Chris about this development. I would like to know if my mother can take vitamin to improve her stamina. If possible, tell us what is good according to Dr. Chris? We hope for the response from Dr. Chris. Thank you for your attention. Yours truly, Az.
Reply: Only two days on herbs, don’t expect cure that soon!
June 24, 2012: Dr. Dear Chris,
I want to give a report about my mother:
Since taking herbs from 17 June to 21 June 2012 my mother’s condition are as follows:

b) She feels chills.
c) Whole body with tingling pains in the bones. She needs help to sit up, stand or walk.
d) Urination is smooth and she passed out many small, moss-like clumps.
e) Bowel movements are good.
From 22 June 2012 to today, 24 June, my mother:
a) Is able to sit and walk by herself because no more pains in the bones.
b) Heat in the stomach and feeling of chills and shivering have all gone.
c) However, she has twisting feelings in the abdomen (below the navel).
d) The pains in the hip come and go. She also has nausea and vomiting.
We pray for your guidance and advice.
13 July 2012: The patient’s husband, Darwin, came to CA Care and reported that his wife’s health has started to improve further from 28 June onwards, i.e., twelve days after taking our herbs.
Darwin is indeed an amazing man. He did all the chores of brewing his wife’s herbs and took full control of caring for her. He produced a diary where he wrote what had happened to his wife each day (see below).
Since this is indeed an amazing healing story, I asked Darwin if I need to cover his face in our video presentation. His replied: No, no need to cover! He would like to share his wife’s healing story with all of us.
Transcription of our conversation on 13 July 2012
2. The Healing Crisis
Husband: I have been keeping a record of what happened every day since she started to take the herbs.
Chris: You came here in June (15 June 2012) and this is now July (13 July 2012) and she has been taking the herbs for about a month now? Your wife did not come, right? You came on her behalf?
H: That’s right.
C: After taking the herbs for a week – did she suffer?
H: Yes – exactly! These are the details.
She had high temperatures – fevers.
She felt dizzy.
Her abdomen was heaty.
Sometimes she trembled or shivered.
C: Before the herbs, did she suffer such problems?
H: No, not at all.
C: After taking the herbs, she had all these problems? For how long?
H. The problem started three days after taking the herbs. Her abdomen had twisting pains, her whole body ached, her abdomen itched. The problem persisted for about ten days.
C: What happened after the ten days?
H: Her condition stablised. Her appetite improved. By the 12th day her condition returned to normal. On the 16th day she had difficulty urinating. I brought her to the hospital and the doctor replaced her urinary catheter (a urinary catheter is a latex, polyurethane or silicone tube that is inserted into a patient’s bladder via the urethra. This allows the urine to drain freely from the bladder for collection). With the new catheter she was able to pass urine again.
C: Was this done in the hospital?
H: Yes, she was in the hospital for seven days. As the urine flowed out, it also allowed the waste to come out. She started to discharge pus, pieces of rotten tissues – sometimes string-like – with strong foul smell.
C: What? Things like these come out through the tube with her urine?
H: Yes, pieces of rotten flesh and very smelly. Some looked like plastic strings. Sometimes there was blood and pus. Finally the tube got blocked by the debris. A new catheter has to be installed. To help with the flow, I had to press the tube to break up the debris.
C: Okay, let’s see if I get it right. All these discharge – the rotten tissues, pus, etc – happened before you brought her to the hospital?
H: Yes, before going to the hospital.
C: It means that after taking the herbs, she had all the sufferings you mentioned and on top of it, rotten tissues and pus were discharged through the catheter. Is that right?
H: Yes.
C: It also means that your wife already had a catheter before she started to take the herbs? This was to help her discharge her urine. And after she took the herbs, all these rotten tissues and pus were discharged through the catheter until the device was clogged.
H: Yes, because of that I had to bring her to the hospital and a new catheter was fitted. And she stayed in the hospital for seven days.
C: While in the hospital, did the doctor give her any medication for her cancer?
H: No, only medication to help with her urination.
C: What happened after she came out of the hospital?
H: She became well! But she still continued to discharge these “waste.”
C: And the rotten tissues still came out?
H: No, no. No more tissues but only pus but only a little – not as much as before.
C: Before you took the herbs, did such thing ever happen?
H: No, no, nothing like that!
Similar Thing Happened in the Philippines
C: Amazing, amazing! I now remember of a similar case. There was a patient from the Philippines. He had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The doctor could not do anything except to insert a tube into his abdomen. After taking the herbs rotten-minced-meat-like tissues flowed out through the tube. It was very smelly. The colour was very dark brown. This rotten tissue kept flowing out of the tube for a few weeks. After two months on the herbs he regained his health. Later an ultrasound showed no more growth in his pancreas. (For more on this patient: https://cancercaremalaysia.com/2012/07/13/pancreatic-cancer-is-there-another-option/)
3. Health Restored After Herbs
H: From my thinking, my wife had to undergo a cleansing process. There are too much “germs” inside her and these have to come out. Because of that even the catheter get clogged up. I brought her to the hospital. I told the doctor that she (my wife) is taking herbs for her cancer.
C: What did the doctor say about that?
H: The doctor had no objection with the herbs. It is okay.
C: Amazing! Some doctors get angry if you take herbs. But your doctor is agreeable. That’s the kind of doctor who can help us and co-operate with us. Good, I am happy to hear that.
H: When I met the doctor I asked him to only help drain her urine from the bladder. That was all that I wanted him to do. Even if he prescribed medications, my wife did not take them. The only medications I allowed my wife to take were painkiller and the drip they gave her to help with the urine flow.
Herbs Certainly Helped Her
C: This is really amazing. Do you think that the herbs had helped your wife?
H: Yes, of course. You see doc., after the herbs she had fevers, nausea, vomiting, etc.
C: Okay, when she was in such a condition, what was in your mind?
H: I encouraged my wife to continue with the herbs. Healing was taking place – a cleansing was happening. The cleansing process started from the top and by the 8th day it went down to her lower abdomen and she had so much pain. All her joints and bones all over the body were painful. When she had fevers she trembled.
C: Were you not afraid and wanted to give up?
H: No, she continued to take the herbs. I was giving her all the encouragement.
C: But it was only you who were “pushing” her. What about other people in the family?
H: I was the main person taking care of her. I boiled her herbs. I didn’t trust others to do this chore.
C: Did it not cross your mind that after a week on the herbs – and she had all these problems – you wanted to give up?
H: Sometimes, I did think of that! But your wife and also you doc., did warn me about this healing crisis when I was here for the first time. So I was even more encouraged to proceed. So I persisted. So this month, I did not sleep much having to take care of my wife!
Suffering Before Healing
C: Okay, this is the kind of patient I really want and admire – patient who has such belief and “fighting spirit.” Many patients will write to me after taking herbs for two or three days. They have pains here and there and wanted me to explain why this and that happened. But how am I to know? I am here in Penang and they are there – somewhere so far away in Indonesia, Singapore or Australia. How do you expect me to know and explain everything? But what I know is this – patients would suffer healing crisis after taking the herbs. If you are not prepared to go through this “hump” you will not succeed. This is what I consider the “law of healing.” But many patients will “chicken out” with the slightest discomfort. But good for you that you did not give up and continued taking the herbs.
She Recovered After Twenty-six Days on Herbs
H: Two or three days before I left home to come here today, my wife had recovered. There were no more pains.
C: If you look at her – does she look healthy?
H: Yes, healthy. She can now walk around the house even with her catheter. She could even talk on the phone and laughed. To me she looked healthy.
C: Before the herbs, what were her conditions?
H: She was lethargic and lacked energy. She had difficulty talking to me over the phone. Her voice was weak and she had pains in her lower abdomen. It was on the 26th day after taking the herbs that I could see her coming to life again and well.
No Poisons for Her
C: What you did for her was correct. We still need the doctors to help us. But what we don’t want is to put poisons into her body.
H: Antibiotics? No, no. We refused that. What we accepted from the doctors were vitamins – okay; painkiller, okay But antibiotics, No!
C: This is a great story. It is patient like this that I really admire.
4.Beware. The Cancer Can Strike Back
C: You must be aware that her healing journey has just begun. It is not over yet – she is still in the healing process.
H: Yes, exactly.
C: Many patients – after they feel well and don’t feel like dying anymore – they would want to eat this and that.
H: No, no (waving his hands violently). That is not right!
C: So you must be very careful.
H: I am aware of that!
C: Let me warn you again to be careful with what she eats. When she was sick, you took care of her very well and she recovered. Don’t ever change her diet now. After she gets wells, you can slowly introduce one “new” type of food at a time. If that “new food” does not give any problem – you can then introduce another “new” food and see what happens. I can anticipate what your next problem is going to be – it is all about food. So be careful.
Healed Pancreatic Cancer That Turned Rotten
C: Take the case of the patient from the Philippines who had pancreatic cancer I told you earlier. The doctor said he had only three to six months to live. He took herbs and after two months became well. He lived for one and half years! He was able to back to his job – repairing air-con and fridge. Later, the doctor told him that he was “cured” – no more tumour. He stopped taking the herbs and went back to his “bad” diet. He suffered a relapse and died.
Remember, if your wife suffered a relapse, I am not going to be able to help her again. There is nothing much more that I can do for her.
Don’t Ever Go Back to Your Former “Bad” Diet
C: So this is my reminder again. Now that she has recovered. Remember don’t ever go back to her “bad” diet again. Apart from this diet problem, I do not see any other problem. This is because I have given her enough herbs for her problems. And I am not going to change any of these herbs for now. The only thing is her diet – this is the greatest mistake all cancer patients committed after they get well.
Her Current Problems
C: What are her problems now?
H: Only the urination.
C: Be patient. And did she still discharge those rotten tissues?
H: No more rotten tissues but there is still pus. No blood. No more nausea and vomiting. Even the bloating of her abdomen was resolved.
C: Okay, no need to take that Stomach Function tea for her stomach wind anymore.
H: Yesterday my brother-in-law had a bloated stomach. I gave him the Stomach Function tea. After one night and two days his stomach was flat and he was alright! The herbal tea was effective! (There is no need to cover my face in our video conversation. I would like to share my experience with others).
Fit is a 37-year-old female from Indonesia. In May 2012, she accompanied her friend for a medical treatment in Penang. While staying in Penang, she took the opportunity to consult a doctor about a swelling in her right collar bone. The doctor assured her that there was nothing to worry about that lump. However, she had a swelling in left side of her neck. This caused some discomforts. Also at times, she had humming sound in her left ear. She was referred to an ENT specialist who ordered a CT scan. The report is as below:
The ENT specialist suspected NPC (nose cancer) and suggested that Fit proceed with a biopsy. If it is positive for NPC, then she is to undergo radiotherapy. Fit refused further medical intervention and came to us for help.
It was indeed a difficult situation for us. We were not able to proceed because we did not know what this is in the first place. Especially for young patient like Fit – only 37 years old – we would prefer that she undergoes medical treatment for whatever problem she has. We do not want to mislead her into believing that our therapy can cure her. So she was adamant that she would not want to proceed with further medical intervention.
We prescribed Fit Capsule A, Mt Guava deTox tea and NPC 1 tea. We made it clear to Fit that she has to come go back to her ENT doctor again within three months for further checkup. If her problem persists then she has to consider undergoing medical treatment.
Fit came back to see us again on 13 July 2012, i.e. after two months on herbs. She had just gone to see her ENT and was told that she was nothing wrong with her anymore. The swelling had disappeared and her “nose was clean.” Fit also said that since taking the herbs, her discomforts had resolved. Before coming to us, she used to have headaches and her neck muscles felt tight. These were all gone.
This is another amazing story of healing. I asked Fit if she wanted her face covered in our video presentation. She replied: No! She wanted to share this good news with all of us without having to hide her identity.
Why She Refused the Biopsy
I was curious why she was so adamant in refusing to proceed with a biopsy – i.e., risking her life for not wanting to “catch her cancer early.” Listen to what she has got to say.
Fit: My sister had breast cancer. She underwent chemotherapy. I do not want to go through a similar experience. Even if I have to die, I don’t want to suffer like her.
Chris: Oh, you used to have a sister? And she had breast cancer?
F: Yes, breast cancer in 2005 and she had a surgery to remove her breast, followed by chemo and chemo until March 2008. And on 20 March 2008, she died.
C: From her operation to her death – how long was that?
F: Three years. She received two cycles of chemos each month for three years. Initially she was alright but she suffered recurrence after recurrence and her condition “dropped” rapidly. She had to use the “chemo-port” because all the veins in her hands could not take the chemo anymore. In February 2008, the doctor said there was no need for any more chemo. My sister would only have two to four weeks to live. We brought her home and she died a month later. Since her death, I have heard of a name, Dr. Chris Teo. Since then I kept this information in my heart. When I was told that I might have NPC, I did not cry. I just wanted to come and see Dr. Teo.
Corinna is a 51-year-old Singaporean lady. On 5 May 2012 she was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas. From the pancreatic tail the cancer has also spread to her liver and also the posterior aspect of her stomach. The surgeon who did the biopsy told Corinna that medical treatment would not be able to cure her. Nevertheless she was asked to seek further opinion from an oncologist.
After waiting for one and a half hours, Corinna got to meet her oncologist. Consultation with him was a great disappointment. After paying SGD 700 and talking for about 10 to 15 minutes, Corinna ended up more depressed, helpless and devastated. Whatever hope and expectation she had after her cancer diagnosis were dashed by this oncologist.
It was at this time that we got a phone call from our sister-in-law in Singapore. Corinna is her sister and she requested for us to talk to Corinna and her husband. So on 17 May 2012, Corinna, her husband, daughter and sister flew to Penang. We sat down to talk with the family for about two and half hours.
The following are recordings of our conversation that day.
Acknowledgement: Thank you Corinna for your permission to share this story without having to hide your real identity.
At CA Care we take hours to talk to patients and explore ways as to how we can help them the best we can. We learn nothing from patients if we only talk for 10 to 15 minutes! Questions such as: where you live, what car you drive, what job you have or do you have any health insurance, are not in our scope. These questions may turn out to be cruel! What if the patient is poor? It is okay if he/she is rich – the answer may inflate his/her ego but a poor man may be intimidated by such questions. Then, what would be the reaction of the healer. Would I treat the poor differently from the rich? Where is the compassion in this so-called noble, healing profession?
We would rather spend time with you explaining what you can do to heal yourself. We want you to be able to ask sensible questions. We know you are “fighting” the battle of your life and you have to bear the final consequence of that decision. It is our duty to provide you with honest and balanced answers to enable you to make informed decisions.
In the case of Corinna. She had seen the oncologist. He suggested chemotherapy even though she was placed in the “hopeless” category, where only a miracle can save her. So my first question after hearing her story was: What is it now that you want to do? You have to make that decision.
Our CA Care Therapy is not an easy path to take – go for chemo if you want it easy.
If you decide to follow our CA Care Therapy you need to be fully committed, you need to change your diet, lifestyle and mental attitude.
We encourage you to seek peace in Spirituality. In addition, exercise and have time for yourself.
You need to take herbs – but know that herbs by themselves are not magic. There is no instant cure either.
Healing takes time and before that can happen, you will initially experience a “healing crisis” or some difficulties first. Are you willing to go through that?
So reflect on these requirements and decide for yourself what you want to do for yourself.
Be forewarned again that our healing path is not easy to travel. Not everyone who comes to us can find healing – only 30% do, the rest don’t.
However those who persist, benefited. At CA Care we often see miracles happen – much beyond our expectation.
CA Care does not promise you a cure. We believe no one can cure cancer anyway. Because somehow and sometime later, the cancer could strike again.
As cancer survivors, you need to learn to be grateful for what you have and what you are. Thank God for whatever blessing that comes your way each and every day.
And above all, learn to live with your cancer. No one wins in a war!
On 25 April 2012, I had the privilege to meet GS. He had colon cancer that had spread to his liver. Seven of 12 lymph nodes were also affected. His problem started when he passed out loose stools with blood, otherwise his health was fine.
A colonoscopy confirmed a tumour in his sigmoid colon. Subsequently GS underwent a surgery. This operation cost him RM 27,000. After surgery he was told that his cancer had spread to his liver – making it a Stage 4, or terminal. Nevertheless GS was asked to undergo chemotherapy, which was to cost him about RM 60,000.
Did you ask your doctor: If I were to undergo chemotherapy, can this cure me? Of course chemotherapy would not cure. Without chemotherapy, GS was told that he had only 6 to 8 months to live. GS decided not to undergo chemotherapy. He came to seek our help instead and was started on Capsule A+ B, LL tea, GI 1, GI 2 and Liver 1 and Liver 2 teas.
Why did he not want to undergo further medical treatment? He said, “The doctor said this is serious case – fourth stage cancer because it has spread to the liver. But deep in my heart, I said – because I am a Christian – I reject it in the name of Jesus. After that my confidence level remained as normal … I just take it as it is. My fate is in the hands of the Lord. That is it, as simple as that. Even when I went for the operation, everything went on smoothly – 2 days in the ICU, 8 days in the normal ward. On the fifth day they remove my drip. I really thank my God for giving me His hand of healing.”
With full trust in his Lord, GS felt at peace. He did not worry any more. Soon after his surgery he came to seek our help and turned down chemotherapy. Since then GS has been consistent in taking our herbs and he changed his lifestyle and diet. He had no problem. However, he realized that our herbs would not cure him but he was and is contented and happy.
His blood test done on 15 November 2011 and 2 March 2012 showed a slight increase in his tumour markers. In spite of that GS took it calmly – he was aware of his condition. After all, his doctor said he would only last 8 months at most, and GS had already survived 7 months and he is still doing fine – leading a normal life. His strong faith in God had given him peace of mind.

I often tell patients this: Believe in the diagnosis but don’t believe in your doctor’s prognosis! Indeed after performing a scan and biopsy and if you were told that it was cancerous, by all means go for a second opinion, but don’t try to deny the diagnosis. Cancer is common these days and most probably what your doctor told you is correct. Some patients go into a self-denial mode and do all sorts of things trying not to “believe” the diagnosis. However, since doctors are not gods, don’t believe their prognosis. How long you live or when you die is not for your doctor to determine. Based on experience or research results we may be able to predict the ultimate outcome but it is not necessarily true. You may beat the odd if you do things right.
In my conversation with GS, I have pointed out what happened to some of our patients. There was this lorry driver in Kuala Lumpur. He had colon-liver cancer. Without chemo, his doctor said he had only 6 months. He did not have the money to pay for his treatment and came to us for help. He survived for more than 3 years and then died. But he died due to his own foolishness. I was in Kuala Lumpur at that time and saw him. I asked him what he did wrong. His reply, “During the Chinese New Year I ate fried chicken.” He suffered severe pains and his stomach bloated. Since he came to us he did not take such “forbidden” food – why now? Perhaps he was tired and bored of living?
There was a 49-year-old lady in Penang. She was diagnosed with terminal stage liver cancer. The tumour in her liver was 8.7 x 6.6 x 10.0 cm in size. The doctor in the general hospital sent her home – there was no treatment. This lady came to seek out help and took our herbs. After 5 years, she is still alive.
At CA Care we see enough of doctor’s prognosis gone wrong! So, don’t believe your doctors if they say you are going to die soon. Indeed, a person who understands healing would refrain from “playing” God. Such words do great harm to patients.
I have an opportunity to share some thoughts with GS about cancer and life.
There is no cure for cancer
As much as anyone wants to say that you do this or you do that you can cure cancer, our 16 years dealing with cancer tells me that there is no cure for metastatic cancer. Cure means total elimination of the disease, not just surviving for 5 years as defined by your doctors. Amy Soscia (deceased) aptly put it this way:
Many patients come to CA Care wanting to find the “magic bullet” for cancer. There is none. What is even more unrealistic is that most of the patients who came to us have undergone all the possible medical treatments and failed. Yet when they came to us, they expected us to “cure” them. “I am not god” is my answer to such people. However, that does not mean that I cannot help them – yes, we can within our humanly limit.
Accept your reality
Accept the reality that cancer is now a common disease. Many patients who came to us have spent thousands and thousands of dollars to find a cure for their cancer in modern medicine. At the end, many were let down – desperate and felt helpless. Besides they found a “big hole” in their pockets or bank account. Ask your oncologist before undergoing your cancer treatment: Can you cure me? See what answer you get. You may get these responses: The treatment can prolong you life. Oh, it will stop the cancer from spreading. Cure – no guarantee! Also ask, What are the side effects? Unfortunately some of the answers given are misleading and less than truthful.
Are you happy being on our Therapy? Did you benefit from our herbs?
No, we are not going to be able to cure GS of his cancer. But the more important question to ask is, Is he happy with what he is doing? If our herbs help him, be grateful. Praise God for this blessing. At CA Care we teach you to live with your cancer, not to fight your cancer.
GS benefited from our therapy. Since coming to us he did not have to take medications for his high blood pressure and also uric acid. He lives a normal, happy, pain-free life. What more can anyone ask for? Be grateful for what you have and what you all. Most people forget this. They want a complete cure – being able to go back to their old ways of life and anything short of this will not make satisfy them.
Death is the Ultimate Healing
Let me end with this message to all cancer patients:
Danny is a pastor of a church in Singapore. He is 48 years old. Sometime in early August 2011, he had dengue. His right cheek was swollen and his ear was blocked. His problems resolved after hospitalization. However, a PET scan done on 21 October 2011 revealed the following:
FEG-avid right nasopharyngeal mass. There is effacement of the right parapharyngeal space and extension across the midline.
Hypermetabolic right retropharyngeal, right level 2 and 3 adenopathy.
Necrotic enlarged left FDG-avid level 2 adenopathy.
Impression: Right nasopharyngeal tumour. There is also right retropharyngeal adenopathy, left level 2 cervical node and right level 3 node.
A biopsy was performed and confirmed cancer of the nasopharynx, T2N2Mo.
Pastor Danny subsequently underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He successfully completed 33 sessions of radiation but managed to complete only 2 cycles of chemotherapy (scheduled for 6 cycles). The chemo-drug used was cisplatin.
Danny suffered severe side effects of the radiation treatment. In addition, chemotherapy was equally severe. After the first cycle of chemo, he suffered nausea and vomiting and has to be hospitalized. In late December 2011, Danny had to be hospitalized again due to febrile neutopenia (fevers and infection).
When the time was due to Danny to undergo his third cycles of chemo, he decided that he had had enough. He did not want any more chemo.
It was at this stage that we received the following email.
5 January 2012
Hi Chris,
My pastorDanny(fromSingapore) has got nose cancer Stage 3. He has just finished his radio therapy treatment and has 4 more dosages of chemo to go thru.
Last month as I was sharing with my cousin Bobby fromSingapore, he shared that his elderly dad got colon cancer several years ago and undergone your treatment. He has since been well and out of cancer. Bobby mentioned that (Mr. Lee in JB would be able to help). My pastor Derek would like to bring Dannyto your centre for an appointment…. Appreciate your reply.
Shalom. L.
Pastor Danny was subsequently prescribed herbs: Capsule A, NPC 1 and NPC 2, Lympho, Chemo-tea, Radio-tea and Mt. Guava deTox teas and was told to take care of his diet. He benefited from our Therapy. Within a few days he bounced back to ”real” life.
On 26 April 2012, we received an e-mail from Pastor Danny.
Dear Professor Teo,
Thank you very much for turning my medical condition around! Tried calling you to break the good news, but cannot get thru la. I managed to share with Mr. Lee, and he is so happy for me.
My MRI result shows all is normal and EBV blood test shows virus undetectable! Amazing? I am amazed, at NPC stage 3, I just made an U turn from death, and I’m thankful to you and Mr. Lee for the herbs and the amazing Capsule A!
See you in May. Danny.

Pastor Danny came to see us again in Penang on 12 May 2012 and shared his story. Let him walk you through his cancer journey and share with you some of the darkest hours of his life.
Acknowledgement: Thank you for your permission to share this story without having to hide your real identity.
Part 1: NPC – Treatments and Side Effects
Diagnosed with Stage 3 nose cancer in October 2011 and underwent radiotherapy and chemotherapy in November 2011.
Suffered severe side effects of radiation – mouth sore, difficulty swallowing, burnt skin, etc.
At the same time, he received two cycles of chemotherapy. The side effects were worse than radiation and he had to be hospitalized. He was unable to sleep, was in pain and became anxious and depressed. He was put on morphine and as a result suffered constipation and hallucination.
Part 2: Darkest Hours of My Life
The treatment caused much misery. I would rather die – it was miserable and never again!
The diagnosis of Stage 3 cancer meant it was a death sentence. There was only a 30 percent chance (whatever that means!).
There was no hope and no choice. He had to undergo medical treatment because that was the only way to go.
He had to put up a “false front” and behave himself – being a pastor who needed to show a good example.
In this darkest hour of his life, Did you ask God – Why? No, he did not because cancer seemed to be a part of his family. His mother died of nose cancer too – many years ago. Many other members of his family also had nose cancer.
At the lowest ebb of his life, he felt he could not make it and was ready to die. In fact, he sent an sms to a friend requesting what to be done for him if he passed on.
I was just a living thing – existing.
Part 3: Clash of Healing Ways – Modern Medicine Versus Traditional Herbs
He had total belief in modern medicine. That probably was the only “sure” or logical way to “fight” the cancer. He was not open to alternative therapies because he was not sure of them and did not have enough convincing information about them.
He suffered severely from the medical treatment. Many friends around him persuaded him to give up chemo! But he would not listen! He reasoned, If I go for chemo, at least I have a chance! My life is a stake.
At last, a friend managed to break through with the message that herbs from CA Care would be able to help. He was convinced but not enough to totally discard chemotherapy. He still wanted to go for his third cycle of chemo. But somehow the third chemotherapy was deferred and that gave him the chance to start taking CA Care’s herbs.
Three days on the herbs, he bounced back to life. He had more energy to talk to friends and walk and was able to attend church and took morning walk.
With his health back – he thought he had a strong enough base to go for chemotherapy again!
Part 4: The Breakthrough – Cancer in remission!
His desire to continue with chemo had upset many of his friends. You are going better with the herbs, why are you going for chemo again? He told them, You all did not know what I have gone through. I was desperate to get well. I am willing to die to become well.
After a trip to Penang and consultation with Chris – he was satisfied, for we at CA Care would not compel any one to do what he doesn’t want to do or stop anyone from doing what he wants to do. It is your life and you decide what is best for you! My mission is to empower you with adequate, truthful information.
Not under pressure anymore, he decided to stop chemo on his own accord. The next day he went to his oncologist and for the first time told her the he was taking CA Care’s herbs and he would not want to continue with further chemotherapy. To his surprise the oncologist readily agreed! She was not “mad” at him at all.
Also it came as a surprise that the oncologist broke the news that there were no more EBV in his blood and the mass in his nose had resolved. In simple language, he was considered “cured” or was in remission. There was no further need for chemo. He had only to come for routine checkup.
Part 5: Don’t Be Complacent – Learn from the Experiences of Others Before You
On 12 May 2012, he came back to Penang and shared his story with us. Now, it was our turn to give him our advice on how to stay healthy.
Eat anything you like? That’s going to be the greatest mistake you will ever commit in your life. So take care of your diet.
You are not cured of your cancer yet! The cancer can come back and strike you again! So don’t be complacent or fooled by this good news.
Learn from the experiences of others before you. Learn from their mistakes and successes if you want to live long.
Sixty two weeks of chemo followed by radiotherapy and 5 years of aromatase inhibitors – will these make you sick?
Anne (not real name) is a 51-year-old Canadian. She had a lump under her nipple. A CT Scan on 14 February 2011 showed a 1.5 cm tumour in left breast, multiple enlarged lymph nodes but no spread to the surrounding tissues or organs.
Anne underwent a left breast mastectomy and removal of 13 axillary lymph nodes on 1 March 2011. It was a Stage 2 infiltrating ductal carcinoma. The margins were clear. Eleven of 13 lymph nodes were affected. The tumour was positive for Estrogen (4), Progesterone (3), P53 (80%) and HER2 (3+).
This was what Anne wrote:
My doctor has left all of the treatment options up to me. She is not pushing me in any one direction. She suggested I “shop around” and get lots of information and statistics. She gave me the names of three oncologists at three different hospitals.
Oncologist One said SIXTY-TWO WEEKS of chemo! Twelve weeks TAC (Taxotere + Andriamycin + Cyclophamide), 12 weeks TH (Taxotere and Herceptin) and radiotherapy. Herceptin for the remainder of a year, and 5 years of aromatase inhibitors!!! He did a blood test to confirm that I am menopausal. He told me if I did radiation alone it would give me 5%, with hormones up to 20%, with chemo and herceptin up to 50%. BUT the prognosis is only good for 2-3 years, as they haven’t done long term studies on Herceptin! Those numbers do NOT impress me!
A radiologist said almost the same thing as the oncologist.
I was VERY upset with the oncologist when he took one look at my report, and without asking questions, said that I HAD to do 62 weeks of chemo! When I told him I didn’t WANT to do chemo, he said, “Well, then it’s 100% chance of recurrence.” When I asked what my options were, he told me I didn’t have any! His attitude ALONE lost me as a patient, without even CONSIDERING anything else!
We all walk different paths, and have different experiences. But one thing I DO know. Most of the people who have seen, or been close to, someone who went through all the chemo and radiation, swear they would never do it themselves. Those who have actually DONE the chemo and/or radiation tell me they would NEVER do it again.
I have observed FAR too many people go through chemo and radiation, and die anyway, or have such bad after effects that their quality of life is non-existent. I choose quality over quantity!
I do not walk down this path blindly. I have looked in many directions. I have searched through the light and the dark. I have looked at both my insides and my outsides. I know that I am now on the correct path to help myself. Whether this leads me to a long life of health, or whether this gives me 2 or 3 years of health and happiness and then I die of cancer doesn’t matter. What matters is the here and now, and the fact that I BELIEVE that this is the path that I need to take.
I have NEVER been a great believer in conventional medicine, due to personal and family experiences. I have always sought out alternative or complementary medicine, through naturopaths and homeopaths.
Anne decided to forgo further medical treatments and was started on CA Care’s herbs. About seven months later, I had a chance to meet up with Anne again. From our conversation, I have learned something new – Anne pointed out that having breast cancer did not make her sick! She was a “healthy” person and it just happened that she had a cancerous lump in her breast! But surely, with chemo and radiation – these so called “cures” would make her sick! You get her message?
Comments
Of course, from what the medical reports said, Anne’s cancer was indeed serious. But she decided against the “conventional wisdom” of undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or taking Tamoxifen. And she was aware of the risk that she was taking but she preferred quality life rather than quantity but “miserable” life. That was her choice. Cancer patients – you too can make your own choice. Go where your heart tells you to go.
It has been more than a year now and I was told that Anne was doing fine and is still taking her herbs. She last saw her surgeon on 14 March 2012 and was told that everything was alright. Since after her breast cancer surgery Anne remained active – she flew to Canada to visit her family, attended her friend’s wedding in South Africa, and went to Kenya many times on her school project. Although she has cancer, her life still goes on. Imagine what could have happened if she went into a panic / fear mode and agreed to what the oncologist wanted her to do – undergo sixty two weeks of chemo followed by radiotherapy and 5 years of aromatase inhibitor? Would she be what and where she is today?
This learned professor reminded us that health is our responsibility. Do not mortgage this responsibility to our doctors and other specialists. Do you believe they know more about our health better than us? The medical establishment may want us to believe that this is the correct thing to do – to trust them all the way! This may not be the right thing to do when it comes to cancer. Many patients have found out this the hard way – much too late. Professor Zajicek said: doctors’ arguments are wrapped in hypocrisy and double talk.
Professor Zajicek painted the reaction of a woman after she discovers that she has a lump in her breast. Ponder what he said seriously. You may not want to be this woman!
Yesterday, a woman felt healthy. Today, she discovers a small lump in her breast. Suddenly she becomes ill, realizing that she carries an evil disease. The lump is her death sentence. In reality, she is healthy. The lump does not pose an immediate threat to her. Nevertheless she panicked. It is not cancer that causes her misery, but society and medicine that promote this fatalistic perception.
Now this woman is alarmed and rushes to her doctor the next day. She undergoes a mammography and biopsy and is told she has cancer. The doctor tells her that she is very ill. Her world turns upside down.
Before detecting the lump, this woman is otherwise a healthy person not until she is given the cancer mask to wear. Her doctor is now preoccupied with her cancer mask. Fear is generated. Everything needs to be done quickly and urgently to fight and save her life from this evil disease – the tumour! So this woman has to act, to conform to the roles of the mask that she wears. She now acquires a new disease called the mind-cancer. From then on she sinks into the abyss of misery, believing that she will die rather soon.
Ask these questions: Before the discovery of the lump, and before consulting her doctor – what was her life like? She was as fit as a fiddle, wasn’t she? Then suddenly a change of fortune befalls her just because she had discovered a lump in her breast. What is the real cause of her misery? The lump in her breast or the perception of evil being spun by society and the medical establishment?
Anne was an odd ball when it comes to her cancer. She wrote:
Nobody knows my body like I do, and trust me, it’s taken a lot of years, and a lot of fights with doctors, to get to that point! But I DO know my body, and I DO know what it will or will not tolerate. No doctor can tell me any different, because he or she HASN’T walked in my shoes, or lived in my body. When doctors begin to understand that ONE simple thing, the world will be a much better place!!!
I think many, if not MOST, people react out of fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of the future. Fear of failure. Fear of death (their own AND others). Just plain old FEAR, period. If they don’t understand it or can’t explain it, they don’t want to have anything to do with it. They don’t trust it, so they fear it. Many people are so afraid of dying that they will believe ANYTHING the doctors tell them, in hopes of NOT dying. Many people feel they “aren’t smart enough” or “don’t know enough” to make their own decisions. After all, these doctors have YEARS of training and experience.
Many people also have not had the “experience” with cancer that I have. I have watched far too many friends, both old and young, go through the devastation of chemo. And I told every one of them to PLEASE stop the chemo, because it is THAT that was killing them, making them too weak to fight for their lives.
I refuse to let this cancer rule my life. I have so much more life to live, and so much to be thankful for. Not ready to give up and let the cancer take me. So I live each day BELIEVING that I can beat this. I laugh about it, joke about it, and treat it like a “friend”, not an enemy. I’m living WITH it, not AGAINST it. If I keep my body, my immune system, healthy and strong, it will take care of the cancer. I don’t need to fight it, my body (my BRAIN, actually!) will take care of it for me!
Let me reproduce some of the e-mails that Anne wrote. I believe you will be able to understand who she is and what she stands for.
History of cancer – Mother’s side: Grandmother – 49 yrs old (lived to 86 yrs) had ovarian cancer and had radiotherapy. Uncle – 74 years old (still alive at 76), had prostate cancer, underwent surgery and no further treatment. Mother – 67 years old (still alive at 74), had breast cancer Stage 2, underwent a mastectomy and took Tamoxifen (but discontinued after 1 year due to side effects.
History of cancer – Father’s side: Grandfather – 82 years old (died at 84), had Stage 4 lung (smoked all his life). No treatment. Uncle – 60 years old (still alive at 76), had Stage 3 colon (sigmoid), underwent surgery and did 1 cycle of 5 day chemo treatment and stopped. Aunt – 58 years old (still alive at 68), had breast lump (DCIS), underwent a lumpectomy and had radiation (25 regular plus 5 boosts), took Tamoxifen (5 years) and later Arimidex (5 years)
Sibling: Brother – 51 years old (still alive at 54), had Stage 3 prostate cancer. He had surgery and no further treatment.
22 March 2011: Thanks Chris. It’s pretty much what I feel about the cancer – that medical science has no idea what they’re doing!!! Too many times I’ve seen the results of the “doctors” knowing best!!! I’ve watched too many friends go through chemo, be so sick they could barely breathe, and then die of the cancer anyway. I don’t plan on dying anytime soon, and I’m going to help my body wage this war against the disease. I’m NOT going to cause my body more stress and wreck the immune system that I desperately NEED to stay healthy!!!
22 March 2011: Hi Chris, Just had to tell you this because I found it very funny!!! I was looking at some stuff on Keladi Tikus the other day, and had actually contacted someone about it. From what I’d been reading, it sounded pretty promising. I was going to e-mail you and ask you if you’d heard of it, or if it was okay to take it with your CA Care herbs, as you’d said we should NOT be taking other herbs while under your care! I decided to look a little further, and do some more research before e-mailing you. Imagine my surprise (and DELIGHT!!!) when I saw YOUR NAME as the ‘discoverer” of Keladi Tikus. I am a great believer in that all things happen for a reason. It seems to me that all roads are leading back to you!!! Thanks for everything!
23 March 2011: My breast specialist … She’s been amazing! She has NOT pushed me to do chemo or radiation. She told me to “shop around” for oncologists, because she doesn’t like the fact that they “lie” to her patients, by telling them they WILL be or ARE cured! She doesn’t like the statistics they offer, either. They vary too much from oncologist to oncologist … So far she has been open and helpful every time I’ve met with her. Luckily for me, I seem to have found “a good one”, who is actually interested in her patients’ overall health, and CARES!!!
At the moment, even my sister, who WORKS in cancer research at the National Cancer Institute in USA, is looking into alternative therapies. Since I was diagnosed, we have both spent COUNTLESS hours on the internet, looking things up. The statistics for chemo and radiation get drearier and drearier. And in some cases (like Herceptin and brain tumours!!!) are downright SCARY! Seeing as my cancer is HER2 +3, we both initially thought that Herceptin would be a good drug to try. Now definitely NOT! Same with aromatase inhibitors! My ER and PR are both positive, but low, and most research indicates that with low numbers it’s not nearly as effective as with the higher numbers. Again, are the side effects worth it? Hmmmmm.
Problem is that all factors point to the fact that I have an aggressive type of cancer, yet all the “treatments” sound worse than the cancer itself! I’m hoping that with the Ozone treatment, and your herbs and diet recommendations, it will at least hold it at bay for awhile. Prognosis is not good.
I read your book, Breast Cancer: The Herbal Option today. I had to laugh at some of the comments. I have indeed taken all of this in stride, have not cried, have used lots of humour, and don’t intend on letting it kill me any time soon!!! I did not go into panic or shock when I was told the biopsies were positive. Like some of the women in your book, I think I already knew, before the verdict came down. Unlike most of the women in your book, I had given this LOTS of thought, LONG before I was diagnosed. I have watched FAR too many friends go through the roller coaster ride of chemo and radiation and recurrence and devastation and suffering!!!!
I spent a week on an Alaska Cruise with a friend who had terminal stomach and oesophageal cancer, last summer. She had always been so radiant and alive and fun-loving, even though she had severe fibromyalgia. The drug she was taking for her fibro probably CAUSED the cancer, because they DIDN’T TELL HER that methotrexate was carcinogenic! And they weren’t monitoring her for cancer! I cannot BELIEVE that they would do that! By the time the cancer was diagnosed, it was already Stage 4, and they basically told her she could do chemo and radiation to “prolong her life”. Prolong her AGONY would be more like it! She was on a stomach feeding pump, taking a ton of medication, and so weak and sick to her stomach all the time, that she was not LIVING, she was EXISTING! Still, I got to spend that whole week with her, just the two of us, and I got to make a lifelong wish come true for her – she saw ALASKA!! We had lots of chances to talk, and she told me about the hell of chemo and radiation, and how in the end, she was just too weak to take any more. She died the day before her 51st birthday. She was two weeks younger than me!
I don’t intend on following her path. I intend on doing everything I can, NOW, while I still HAVE my health, to make myself better. That does NOT include chemo and radiation! I know I need to make my immune system STRONGER, not WEAKER! I know I need to detoxify my body, and eat healthy foods. I know that I need to keep a positive frame of mine (not hard for me, as I’m a pretty optimistic person, and get great pleasure out of being happy and having fun!), and BELIEVE that I can continue to fight this!
24 March 2011: Hi Chris, Was down …. for the PET/CT scan today, so decided to give Khadijah a call. She was there. She says the MAIN change I need to make is SLOW DOWN!!! I knew that!! The diet should be no problem, because I’ve been pretty much vegetarian for 25 years already. I do eat chicken breast sometimes, but haven’t had red meat for EVER, and don’t like seafood. The herbs I will take even if they DO smell and taste disgusting. And I have a very positive attitude and a great sense of humour, so that part is okay. But the part that is going to be difficult for me is going to be learning to take it easy, not expect so much of myself, and learn to relax more. I definitely am, and always have been, a perfectionist and a workaholic!!! She said “the big C” is CHANGE, not cancer!!!
25 March 2011: Hi Chris, Got the results from my PET/CT scan today, and it’s all clear. YAY!!!! I saw Dr. Surgeon today, too, and mentioned CA Care and Khadijah, and you, of course. I was wondering what her reaction would be, and WOW! She said that when her sister had colon cancer, they came to CA Care! She was quite surprised (and I think quite RELIEVED, actually) that I found you. But she told me you’ve done some GREAT work with your group. She said that she was impressed with your attitude to cancer, and the way that you teach people to deal with it. She has great faith in what you do!!! She also told me, “If anybody can beat this, YOU can!”
26 March 2011: Hi Chris, I think THAT is probably the most important part that you want to do what is best for your patients. I think oncologists (and a lot of doctors, too), treat everyone like they’re just a number, or a formula. You have x,y,z – so we give you p,q,r. And on with the next patient! I was VERY upset with the oncologist when he took one look at my report, and without asking questions, said that I HAD to do 62 weeks of chemo! When I told him I didn’t WANT to do chemo, he said, “Well, then it’s 100% chance of recurrence.” When I asked what my options were, he told me I didn’t have any!!! His attitude ALONE lost me as a patient, without even CONSIDERING anything else!!!
I have never believed in one size fits all. As a Special Needs teacher, my job is ALL ABOUT meeting individual needs. About finding out what each of those kids needs, and then finding ways to provide it, or make things work for them. Medicine is no different. Matter of fact, it should be even MORE individualized, because it’s really life or death you’re talking about. Doctors need to get to know their patients, and understand how their bodies work, before they can make diagnoses or hand out drugs. But all too often, they don’t! It’s the part of the whole profession that has always bothered me, and why I have, for the most part, steered clear of them!!! I have gone with naturopathic or alternative medicine for most of my life!!!
And I have to say, that Dr. Surgeon basically “putting her stamp” on me going to you for treatment, just made me think again, that all roads lead back to you, and this is the path that I NEED to take!!! Thanks for taking so much of your time to send me articles, e-mails, and most of all, for caring enough to do so!!!
26 March 2011: Hi Chris, Like I said, I’ve been doing nothing BUT research since this all started. I have been working with computers since 1977, but I’m sure that all told, I’ve spent more time on the computer in this past month and a half, than I have in my whole lifetime! I have checked out hundreds of medical journals, research articles, alternative therapies, complimentary medicine, vitamin supplements, different diets, you name it, I’ve read it!!
Like you, I am a voracious reader and will read anything and everything I can get my hands on. Khadijah almost FLIPPED when I told her the other day that I’d printed out Breast Cancer – The Herbal Option and read the WHOLE THING in ONE AFTERNOON!!! But that’s the way I do things. I’ve always been an information hound, and luckily for me, I can read very quickly, and even better, I remember pretty much everything I read.
So, having said all that, I will repeat what I have already told you a few times – all roads keep leading to you!
I am firm in my belief that alternative medicine – naturopathy, homeopathy, Chinese Traditional Medicine, whatever you want to name it – is FAR superior to the modern medical practices. The traditional medicines have been around FAR longer and have proven their worth over the test of time. I’ve seen modern medicines do far too much harm to people, including myself, my own children, and my family.
Like I said, the diet and herbs I have no difficulty with at all. I have had to be very aware of what I eat for a very long time! My stomach does not tolerate, or process properly, a lot of different foods.
My system does not tolerate a lot of chemicals (hence the knowledge that chemo would DESTROY me!). I react to MSG, Aspartame, sulphates and sulphites, nitrates and nitrites, and who knows how many others!?! I try to stay away from artificial flavours and colours.
By the same token, I very rarely take any kind of medication or drugs. I have never taken aspirin or any of the “everyday” type medicines. Never needed them! If I have a kidney infection, I will take anti-biotics, because nothing else seems to knock it out, but other than that, I try to stay clear. I was given Tylenol 3 with codeine for my migraines, but haven’t taken them in years. If I take one, it knocks me out cold for about 12 hours. Yes, it also knocks the migraine out, BUT . . . I feel drugged, and like a zombie, for DAYS afterwards!
I was once given muscle relaxants for a pulled muscle in my back. I couldn’t even FUNCTION! My speech was slurred, my vision was blurred, I had NO co-ordination! Over the years I have taken anti-inflammatories because I have a lot of old sports injuries, etc. I take them sparingly, and ONLY when I am in so much pain I can barely walk, which, thankfully, has not happened often in the past 15 or so years.
Well, I’m not a strong Christian, or a strong follower of ANY faith actually, but I DO believe in a higher being, and I DO believe that all things happen for a reason. I would definitely tell people that this is “God’s way of giving me a wake up call!” I DO believe that the power to heal myself MUST come from inside, and that attitude is a HUGE part of that healing process. And I DO believe in the ability of my body to tell me what is right or wrong for it, if I listen to what it is telling me! I am a firm believer in looking at the bright side, and being thankful for the good things in life. I love nature and am always happiest outdoors, away from the noise and pollution, and to be honest, away from people as well. People fill your head with too many thoughts and you can’t just relax and be yourself!!!
I come from a very small town on the BC/Alaska border, in Canada. I grew up not watching television or playing computer games, but outside playing in the snow, hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, snowshoeing, camping, and loving the outdoors. I love animals, children, flowers, nature, the night sky, thunderstorms, and of course, sunshine!!! My holidays tend to be somewhere where I am NOT in a city, where I can “get away from it all”, or somewhere that I can go explore the mysteries of history and religion and culture.
Although my day to day life is hectic and fast paced, and demands a lot of me, my away from work time tends to be focused much more on myself and being able to have that personal time and space to just BE! I learned a long time ago that I get what I call “peopled out” very easily. In a job where I am working one on one with people all day, by the end of the day, I’m finished with people, finished with talking, and finished with the general NOISE of chatter! I spend my evenings doing crafts, or talking with friends and family on the computer (usually TYPING not TALKING), listening to music, reading, sewing, or just relaxing in the sun for awhile. I love to swim.
Right, I think I’ve babbled on long enough in explanation. I am not making any rash or rushed decisions. I have thought this out very carefully and been very thorough in my research. The fact that Dr. Surgeon basically put her “stamp of approval” on it yesterday, just makes me more comfortable and more determined to follow this path.
I am travelling to South Africa for a friend’s wedding in a couple of weeks, so would like to have at least started with some basic herbs to maybe codify and strengthen my system before then! Will talk to you again soon.
Hi Chris, I think many, if not MOST, people react out of fear.
I have one friend who did chemo and radiation twice, and chemo a third time. She has now had both breasts removed (FINALLY!) but has so many devastating residual effects from the chemo and radiation. She will be chronically ill the rest of her life, due to her “cure”!
I have another friend who had bowel cancer, did all the chemo, and now has serious issues with her kidneys and liver, as a result of the chemo. She, too, will be chronically ill, I fear.
I talked to a friend recently who has watched 4 family members die of cancer, after doing all the chemo and radiation that the doctors told them to. She herself, had a large brain tumour, but refused surgery OR chemo. She was part of a research project using a specific natural product (can’t remember the name of it, sorry!), and that was 24 years ago! She remains alive and healthy to this day!
I have another friend who has never known anybody that died of cancer. And SHE, of course, is VERY concerned that I’m NOT doing chemo. However, she has known me for many years, knows that I always do things my own way, not necessarily the “accepted” way, and she trusts my instincts, because she’s seen the truth of them too many times to deny it!!!
I have one friend who works with the terminally ill, and has seen sooooooo many people die of cancer. She VOWS that the cancer kills them!
We all walk different paths, and have different experiences. But one thing I DO know. Most of the people who have seen, or been close to, someone who went through all the chemo and radiation, swear they would never do it themselves. Those who have actually DONE the chemo and/or radiation tell me they would NEVER do it again.
Despite the fact that my brother-in-law is so worried about the outcome of my cancer, I can’t satisfy his request that I at least CONSIDER the chemo, and/or the Herceptin. I made my mind up a LONG time ago, that I would NEVER subject my body to that. And I have never strayed from that path.
And THAT, once again, brings me around to you! You don’t have a one size fits all attitude. You take each patient individually. You learn about them, about their past (and not just medical past), about their lifestyles, about their families, their fears, ALL of it! You treat each person as a PERSON, not just another case. That is the NUMBER ONE FACTOR in a good person. In ANY good person! You don’t have to be a Christian or a Buddhist or a Muslim to know that. You just need to understand that people who are good to others are good to themselves, and much happier and content with their lives. They have a clear conscience. They are happy to help others. They smile more. They LIVE more!!!
As a teacher, I have to do the same, in order to be effective. I need to be compassionate. I need to understand. I need to learn all about my students, in order to do good with them, and to teach them to do good for THEMSELVES, not because others expect of them. It is so rewarding for me, and brings such a huge smile to my face, when I walk into the classroom, and have all my students light up with pleasure at seeing me! I only teach two full classes, the rest I work with either one-on-one or in small groups. Both of my classes have made me beautiful GET WELL SOON posters, and they have all signed them. I keep them up in my office/craft room, where I spend most of my time. I also have a poster from the girls on my volleyball team last year, up on my wall. Seeing these things makes me know that I’m doing a good job and I’m making other people happy. And that they care enough to do these things for me!
I went into the class on Thursday – and these are 16 and 17 year olds, not little kids – and they all just ERUPTED in happiness. They tell me they love me, as I tell them I love them. They ask questions of me that I fear many adults, and certainly many teachers, would never allow them to ask. And certainly wouldn’t answer!!! One of the boys asked me on Thursday, what I’m sure ALL of them have been dying to know, but have been afraid to ask. He asked if I was going to have to do chemo and radiation. The absolute RELIEF and pure JOY on their faces – ALL of their faces – when I said no, was amazing to see. Humbling, really, to see that they all care so much, and are so worried about me!!!
When I said I was going to do Traditional Chinese Medicine instead, there was a mixed reaction, but they were curious and asked many questions. You see, they trust me to be honest with them, and to tell them the truth. They trust me to answer their questions, and if I CAN’T answer their questions, they know I will do my best to find an answer for them. And I have taught them all to QUESTION! NOT to take things at face value. To ASK if they don’t understand, to make sure that they GET ALL THE FACTS before they make decisions and to look at things not just from one point of view, but to consider many points of view, and all the different angles. And most of all, I teach TO DO WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU!!! I tell them all the time that I can show them MANY ways to do things, but I cannot tell them what will work for them. Only THEY can decide that.
So, you see, I am like you in many ways! I see your attitude towards CA Care and your patients in the same light as I see my relationship with my students. I don’t push them in any one direction, but I give them a helping hand, the information they need to make their own decisions, and the space to try those decisions out for themselves. It’s not a common philosophy in schools, unfortunately, but I hope that in the long run, it will make them all more capable, compassionate, and successful in making good lives for themselves.
I have always said that nobody can make me happy, until I am happy within myself. Nobody can like me if I don’t first like myself. Nobody can make me do things I don’t want to, if I trust in myself. But all of those things take time, time to get to know yourself, time to believe in yourself. Too many people don’t TAKE that time, and that is when they are easily led by the hand. In the end, it is only myself that I have to face in the mirror, and accept whether I am good or bad, and determine if I CAN look at myself in the mirror and accept MYSELF.
30 March 2011: Hi Chris. Me again. My sister, the one who works in cancer research, called this morning to tell me that she’d gone through your website, watched some of the videos and stuff, and she thinks that I’m doing the right thing!!! I was actually surprised, seeing as she WORKS in cancer research, but, like she said, she works in the Natural Products division, so this is right up her alley. She DID say again, to ask if she could get some samples of keladi tikus to test in her lab.
And just thought I’d tell you that I don’t think the tea tastes like “snake venom” or “ditchwater” !!! The C-Tea just tastes like normal tea, to me, and the Breast M tastes like, and has the same texture as, hot cocoa without any milk or sugar. Not the best thing I’ve ever had to drink, but certainly not as bad as I was expecting!
13 June 2011: I once had a doctor tell me that with all his medical knowledge and equipment, he couldn’t “cure” my friend, but I did, just by giving her unconditional love. Letting her know that someone really cared and treating her like she was LIVING, not dying!!!
The power of the mind is amazing. If you want to be happy, THINK happy. If you want to be healthy, THINK healthy. If you want to feel young, THINK young. If you want to be loved, love others. If you are feeling ill, believe that you will get better. Learn to live each day to the fullest – see the cup as half full, not half empty. Look for those silver linings. Look on the bright side. Be mesmerized by the moon and stars. Stop and smell the roses. Take pleasure in splashing in the puddles. Play with little children. Laugh. Dance. Smile. Give out free hugs. And most of all – LIVE!!!
I guess maybe this is why the doctors all keep telling me I’m “too healthy” to have cancer!!! All of the doctors have said the same thing – my cancer was probably caused by STRESS! There you go! The power of the brain and the immune system – I’m a believer!!!
Tony was a 49-year old male. A CT scan of the abdomen done in November 2002 indicated mild dilatation of the biliary tree and pancreatic duct, likely due to a peri-ampullary neoplasm.
Tony went to Singapore and underwent an operation on 15 November 2002. A part of his stomach, duodenum, proximal jejunum, head of the pancreas and gall bladder were removed.
The histopathology report indicated moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma at the ampulla of Vater with ulceration of the duodenal papilla. After the surgery, the doctor told Tony that everything was removed clean. It was all clear. The operation was very successful. This made Tony very confident when he came home to Penang.
On 3 January 2003, Tony came to see us and was started on the herbs. On 14 January 2003, he went back to Singapore again for a review. A CT scan of the abdomen showed no evidence of local recurrence or metastases.
As a base line for monitoring his progress, I requested that Tony carried out blood tests regularly. The first test was done on 8 January 2003, five days after he first started to take the herbs and thereafter every three months. The results are as follows:

The results for the first six months after taking herbs had been most encouraging. In fact we would say Tony’s condition improved with time. Then a bomb shell fell on 2 November 2003. Tony, his wife and sister-in-law came and presented the results of his blood test (see column 4) and wanted to know why everything suddenly had become bad. Can anybody explain that? I often tell cancer patients: I am not god and I do not know everything. Worse still, I cannot fix everything when things go wrong! You have to pay the penalty for what wrong you have done!
I drew the graph below on a piece of paper:
This was what I told Tony, point by point:
a) Engineers (and Tony was one of them) were taught that 2 + 2 = 4. Take x buckets of sand, y bucket of pebbles and z kilos of cement, they can make a building according to the engineer’s specification. Unfortunately, this thinking does not necessary work in biology – when you are dealing with the science of life. Good blood test result does mean cure. It does not mean there is no cancer!
b) Look at the graph. In January, March and June, the CA 19.9 was almost zero. But from June to November, the value had shot up to 417. Why? How could this happen? I asked Tony: Can you tell why? You are a professional. An educated man.
c) We all can agree that the graph does not tell a lie. Honestly, tell me, what you did differently in July, August, September and October? I did not know what you did, so I cannot guess. Tell me honestly what happened in those months.
Reluctantly, Tony told me that in August 2003, he moved his job position from Penang to Kuala Lumpur because he has just won a project. In January to July he lived in his home in Penang with his family. His wife took care of him and kept an eye on his diet. In August he had to live in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur and needless to say, he was living on hotel food. Although he did not tell me, I came to know that he also traveled to some countries in Europe on business trips. All this happened after August 2003. And in November – barely three months after that, we could see the damage done.
Many cancer patients told me that it takes about two to three months after their misbehaviourbefore they suffered serious relapse.
As much as we would like to help, there was nothing much that we could do for Tony. The last time I saw him was on 2 November 2003. Tony died in March 2004.
Comments: I am often faced such situations – patients coming to me and asked why their condition had deteriorated. My standard question is: What “sin” have you committed? Go back and think about what you had done – what you ate and what you did that you were not supposed to do – the answer is there. There is no need to pretend or try to play innocent.
For the record, let me tell you my impression about this patient.
This is a man who kept everything close to his chest. He would not tell you anything unless you pry it out of him. Even when he came for consultation with me, his favourite remark was:My doctor said there was no more cancer. He had taken it all out and I am now clean. Sadly, Tony was lulled and was living in a fool’s paradise.
The feeling I got after talking with him was that I did not expect him to keep to his diet. I don’t believe that he was totally committed to his healing. He wanted healing on his own terms.
Again, I say, we at CA Care are here to help you only. Your healing is yours to seek and achieve. To those who truly need our help, we say this: Live and don’t give up hope. There is a choice and there is an option. There is a hope. But if you want healing on your own terms and refuse to learn and change, then there is nothing much anyone can do to help you.
You wrote to me sometime in December 2011 asking for help but I hesitated and virtually did not want to take on your case. Why were you persistent in wanting to take our herbs? Other patients would just have given up and go elsewhere. After all internet / website information are not reliable.
My mind just felt very positive towards trying the herbs. Nobody recommended me, God pointed me in the direction I needed to go.
You have been taking all these supplements before the herbs. These were: a lot of vitamin – B, D, E and K, (mostly chelated), licorice root, milk thistle, wheat grass, raw vegetable protein powder, Poly MVA, Selenium, Chelated iron tablets, broccoli sprouts, colostrums, beta glucans, Co Q10, barley juice, chorella and digestive enzymes. This is besides taking Ibuprofen (for pain) and Xeloda (Oral chemo). Are you still on them now?
I stopped taking some of them. Initially, when I started taking the herbs, I stopped all supplements because I wanted to feel the effects of the herbs. I wanted to know exactly what the herbs will make me feel. I started some of the vitamins after a month on the herbs so that I will be able to identify if need be whichever one causing a feeling/symptom.
How was your health before taking the herbs?
I got intense heartburn that felt like I was having a heart-attack sometimes.
Right now I have a lot of heat! I sweat all time, and I am always hot. I also feel a lot of internal heat. This started after the radiation, I got a test of my hormones and they were elevated and this puts me in pre-menopause.
I don’t get my menstrual period anymore, although I got what I felt like really painful ovulation last month.
I started having psoriasis all over my skin and also a skin outbreak looking like small boils behind my thigh and butt.
The last ultrasound scan showed about 3 uterine fibroids the biggest was about 5cm.
I rarely sleep before 4a.m., although I have gained about 10kg.
I also have a bump on the right inner side of my tongue,
The hospital was planning to remove the whole rectum/vagina and give a permanent colostomy, but I have declined this. Even the oncologist agrees with me not to do the surgery. The only thing I am planning to do is close the colostomy after the rectum heals so bowel movements can go the normal route.
Are you in pain? Describe, where, what type and how serious?
Yes, there is pain, but it has reduced. The pain is in the rectal area, sometimes radiates to the vagina. It aches, sometimes burns. On a scale of 1-10 pain is about 5.
Can you sleep?
Nocan’t sleep.
Do you feel tired?
No.
How often is your bowel movement? Difficult, constipated, with blood?
Two to three times daily, normal, soft, no blood.
How is your appetite?
Appetite is okay, but can be better.
Any swelling?
No
Do you have any other medical problems such as: gastric?
Multiple uterine fibroids.
Urination: how frequent? Is it painful? Any blood?
Six to seven times daily. No pain.
Do you cough?
No.
Do you have difficulty breathing? Elaborate.
No.
List and explain any other complaints.
Very dry skin. Recently I started getting eczema and acne. The bottom of my feet sometimes hurt when I walk. There is a bump on my tongue (pink).
When you started to take the herbs for the first week (r two), did you suffer from any healing crisis? Your conditions got worse and then improved later?
Yes, I had pains all over my body, headache, sore throat, mild temperature and rashes. Some of the symptoms got worse before they got better.
After how long taking the herbs that you felt you were beginning to feel the herbs were helping you?
From the first week after using the herbs, I felt a difference and I knew that the herbs were helping me.
Why did you say you were getting better after talking the herbs?
In terms of general feelings, I feel great. I am getting stronger physically,
I don’t sleep at 4 a.m. anymore. I don’t feel tired when I wake up.
Basically, if not for the fistula, I have no symptoms.
I do more things myself now.
Before I started the herbs, I had slight burning pains from the rectum and sometimes I had to use Ibuprofen (pain killer). This week, I have not had that pain at all (even when I don’t use the pain tea).
I can sit on a hard surface better now, prior to this moment, it was uncomfortable.
My vagina does not itch anymore. Previously, it was itching so bad that I would scratch it until it bleeds. (Probably this is because you have stopped Xeloda?) Yes, I was taking Xeloda the month before I started taking the herbs. The psoriasis on my body is also clearing up. They appeared after I started taking Xeloda.
My lower abdomen was very tender upon touch, now I can press it without wincing.
I definitely feel I am making positive progress both mentally and physically. I don’t know what it is but I feel happier!
I tried out my shoulder and neck today. Unbelievable! Zero pain! Just five days ago I was in severe pain.
I walked around for over an hour without getting tired. Before the herbs, I felt tired, and I would always get irritated and my mood changes and I become “snappy.”
I am back to preparing my teas myself without help.
The headache is gone as well as the sore throat and body aches. Yes, I believe it was a healing crisis. It started suddenly, got worse and then disappeared.
I still have some phlegm but, it is clear in color. It started during the healing crisis, it was milky in colour.
I was able to take a bath without getting fatigued. I typically spend an hour in the bathroom because of the colostomy. The colostomy is not regulated so, feces come through it at anytime. Because of the difference in water temperature and body temperature, it stimulates the colon however lightly when water touches it. As I wash, it may come just when I finished washing and before I notice it it’s on my skin, I have to wash again. I could easily take a quick shower to prevent this but, if I go at a normal pace, I would start breathing hard.
I don’t urinate as often as I used to! Previously, I used to urinate about every two hours or four times during the night. Now, maximum is once a night. Lately I don’t urinate throughout the night.
Now, I sleep through the night without the need for urinating. Before the herbs it was difficult getting some sleep. Even if all the lights were off, I still couldn’t sleep till the early hours of the day. Following the use of herbs, I sleep earlier, even when I try to stay up, I always become sleepy. But most importantly, even if I get six hours of sleep, I still feel very well rested upon waking up.
Now I wake up and I don’t feel tired, I feel well rested. Previously, I would wake-up, even after sleeping for nine hours and I would be tired.
For me, if I didn’t have the colostomy or if the fistula was fully closed I wouldn’t remember I am healing cancer.
The drainage from the fistula has reduced greatly and the mucus has also reduced. (I remember you saying that one day after the herbs the stools came out a lot into the bag, as never before?) I kept going to the bathroom and frequently too; the stool kept coming and coming like something was pushing them out. But it wasn’t diarrhea, it was soft, very frequent and in copious amount. The second night, the bag would have burst if I didn’t notice it on-time, it was that full.
My nails look better!!! I was looking at them yesterday and I was admiring them because they look pretty, previously they looked terrible. They would bend and contour in odd ways.
I just started sweating and felt the prickly sensation as I was typing this. It happens several times a day, even at night when I am sleeping.
27 March 2012
How are you doing over there? What about the fistula wound? Is it closing and improving? Then the heaty feeling inside? Does the C-tea help?
1 April 2012
Hi Dr. Chris,
I am doing great! I cooked dinner today. Turned out great! The only thing was, I had to keep my sweat from getting inside the pot.
The fistula is closing, the mucus barely comes out anymore and the exudate has reduced greatly. With the C-tea, I think it transfers the heat from inside the body to outside. I don’t feel the inside heat surge as much as I used to, but the sweating is a lot which is not bad. This is because, sometimes I don’t feel the heat inside it’s only when I start sweating that I realize my body was hot. I don’t know if what I am saying makes sense? Now I look at the sweating in a positive way. I just tell myself my body is trying to get rid of all the chemo and radiation I bombarded it with. How is Auntie Im? My greetings to her.

Thanks for your email. I am glad that you are living a happier life now —are you going to reconnect the colon? I thought you have done that already since I did not hear from you for a while.
Okay — you have been on the herbs for more than two months now, going to be three? While on the herbs, did you also take any of the doctor’s medication?
Compare your life now – after taking the herbs versus those days when you did not take the herbs. A lot of improvements? How do you describe your situation now? Taking the herbs indeed helped you? Take care, Chris
Hi Dr. Chris.
I am doing really, really well. I still expelled the dark stuff from my rectum this morning but the horrid smell is reduced. I am not reconnecting the colon at this time. I prefer not to rush and wait a while for the rectum to heal fully. I may give it another year before deciding.
I am planning to come to Penang soon. But, I will be coming alone. I will like to have enough money before coming so I can leave with enough herbs.
I have not taken any doctor’s medication since December last year. Now I feel strong /energetic, like I can do anything now. Well, except for my wrist. First it was the left wrist that was hurting. After a while it stopped. Now the right wrist hurts.
The herbs really, really helped the fibroids too! There is no more pressure on my bladder. I gained more weight too. People keep asking me if I am the caregiver to the patient and where the patient is. Of course I say with a huge smile I am the patient.
I thank God for His many mercies. Health is Wealth.
One last question …
You said you felt well after taking the herbs. What if people put it to you that it is not true and that the “feel good” stuff who wrote about is just your imagination to justify what you are doing for yourself? It is not true!
Fortunately, some of the people who have cancer don’t have pain. However, for those who have pain it can leave you begging for death; even I found myself weighing the benefits of dying rather than continue to suffer the pain. If anyone has been in this kind of extreme pain, I don’t think there is anything in the world that can lead you to imagine “feeling good” when you don’t (well, maybe hypnosis, but I wasn’t hypnotized).
It’s like someone being burned alive, you know your body is healing when the pain reduces even if the scars are yet to fully heal.
When you start losing the muscles in your butt from inactivity, and then you start being active later own, your commonsense should tell you that both experiences are absolute opposites hence they are different and not imagination.
When people around you and even doctors get excited about the changes in you without telling them what you are using, then this is the most definite part proving it’s not being imagined. People are not in my head and they can see me becoming different.
When people can look at you and ask you where the patient is, and even argue with you that you are not the patient; I don’t need anyone to tell me otherwise.
When I can walk for an hour without pain when I could not walk five minutes previously, commonsense tells me things are very different and getting better.
When the pain stopped acting as my alarm clock and I was actually sleeping and waking up on my own terms…oh I knew, I knew without a doubt things were changing for the better.
I could go on, but I’ll hope you get the gist by now. With Stage 4 cancer pain, there is no imagination that can block the pain you are used to experiencing for two years. Unless maybe you are a monk or something (I apologize if that statement is rude).
Comments
I can only say this. This young lady has a lot of common sense. She is not rushing to get herself “cured.” Let the fistula “really” heals first before doing the surgery to reconnect the colon. It is our pleasure to be able to help such an exceptional lady. I am glad that I did recognize my mistake for trying to ignore here request for help. But all the same, this story has a happy ending. May God guide us as we go forward!
Sometime in August 2010, I received an e-mail from a lady from a neighboring country. She works in the radiology department of a hospital. That means her work involves taking X-rays, CT scans, etc., for patients. She was down with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL, suspected). She declined medical intervention and decided to seek our help.
In fact, she is not the only person who wrote us. Two others in the same department of the same hospital are also CA Care’s patients. They were also diagnosed with cancer and they too took our herbs.
This lady with leukemia has been faithfully taking our herbs: Capsule A, Leuk 3, Leuk 4 and LL-tea since August 2010 until now.
On March 2012, this patient wrote:
Dr. Teo,
Attached is my blood test result on 22 March 2012 for your reference. Thank you very much for your help. Regards.
Reply: Thanks for sending me the blood results. Wonderful ! What did the doctor say? Also besides taking my herbs, did you take any other medications? How do you feel? Chris.
Dr. Teo,
My doctor does not know why I can improve as he did not give me any medication. I told him yesterday that I receive your herbal treatment. His response is just asks what types of herbs I take.
I only take the Herbs you give me and follow the no animal meat diet. I also inhale oxygen few times a week for 10-15 minutes, if I have time.
Starting from middle of February, I have influenza and upper respiratory infections and took medications including antibiotics few times for these but stop a week ago before my blood test. However my flu is not completely recovered until now. Anyway, everything is quite OK apart from the flu. Thank you very much for your help again. I will continue to keep the treatment and diet.
LES (H608) is a 60-year-old man. He had the following underlying medical problems:
Hypertension.
Depression.
Ischaemic heart disease (reduced blood supply of the heart muscle to coronary artery disease).
Childhood asthma.
In 2004 he was diagnosed with a benign prostatic hyperplasia — a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. This makes urination difficult and uncomfortable. He has been taking Hytrin (Terzosin) ever since.
In May 2011, his PSA reading was at 9.2. A biopsy was done and indicated cancer of the prostate, Gleason score 3 + 3. The doctor suggested that LES undergo chemotherapy or TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate). LES declined both procedures. Instead, he came to seek our help on 15 May 2011.
LES was prescribed Capsue A, deTox tea and Prostate A tea. After a week on the herbs, LES reported that he felt “heaty”. Four days on the herbs he did not have any more pain when urinating. But if he stopped taking the herbs, the pain recurred.
We did not get to see LES again until the end of March 2012.
When LES came in March 2012 – i.e. ten months later, he said that:
He was not committed enough – As you said, I must be faithful in taking your herbs. When I became well I did not take your herbs!
When he first came his PSA was 9.4. After taking the herbs it dropped to 7.5, then to 5.5. He decided to stop taking the herbs – I was too lazy to cook the herbs! His PSA went up to 9.2.
His doctor suggested medical intervention – surgery and radiation – but he declined. He decided to come back to us and start with the herbs again!
He told his doctor that he was taking our herbs.
Chris: Okay, that is fine. Don’t worry, you don’t have to die with PSA 9.4!
Ron (s24-not real name) is a 22-year-old male from Indonesia. About two years ago he felt numbness in his right leg but did not do anything about it. Then in June 2011, Ron had seizure in his right leg. The seizure attack lasted about 20 to 25 minutes. Ron suffered about three seizures per week. However, his right leg felt numb every day.
A CT scan in Indonesia showed tumour in his brain. Ron and his parents came to a private hospital in Penang in August 2011. MRI of his brain was done and similarly confirmed the presence of left fronto-parietal lobe tumour with cystic central necrosis. The lesion measures about 6 x 6.2 x 6.7 cm in size.
Ron was asked to go to Kuala Lumpur to consult with another specialist. Another brain MRI was performed. The report dated 22 August 2011 indicated a 7.5 x 6.5 cm mass in the left fronto-parietal region with involvement of the motor cortex. There is also involvement in the sensory cortex.
The doctor suggested a biopsy which the family refused to do. According to the doctor, the mass cannot be removed by surgery. Ron was asked to undergo radiotherapy which the family also declined. A 25-radiation-treatment would cost RM 25,000. Ron was told the following:
Even with radiation, the treatment would not cure him.
Radiation may just shrink the tumour.
Ron will have to come back to Penang again after 9 months and do another MRI. If the tumour grows bigger, he needs more radiation.
Ron was prescribed four drugs: Levetiracetam, Phenytoin (both for epilepsy), Dexamethasone (steroid) and Lansoprazole (for ulcer and reflux to take care of the side effects of the medications). He did not take these drugs after coming to see us on 26 August 2011. Ron was prescribed: Capsule A, Brain 1 and brain 2 tea, C-tea + Brain Leaf tea. At the same time Ron underwent e-Therapy. After only a few days, his condition improved tremendously.
Listen to our conversation.
Part 1:
After a week on herbs, Ron’s health improved significantly. There was no more muscle spasm or numbness in his right leg. There was no more full blown seizure. According to his father, Ron’s facial expression was much better. He looked healthier and he felt better too.
I reminded Ron and his father that our herbs are no magic potion. Don’t expect instant cure. Ron will have to take care of his diet and take the herbs regularly.
The father asked, “Can we try your e-Therapy?” Yes, if you want to!
Part 2:
Before a seizure, I had muscle cramp. Muscle cramp means numbness in my leg. Seizure means violent jerking of my leg. Before a seizure sets in, I felt the numbness of my leg first followed by violent jerking of my leg and sometimes even the upper part of my body. I was not able to stand upright and needed to lie down flat wherever I happened to be. Sometimes, I also fainted.
I had muscle cramps everyday and this could last the whole day. But this numbness did not necessarily result in a seizure. But sometimes, there was a seizure. My leg jerked violently. This lasted for about 20 to 25 minutes. My heart pumped rapidly. My whole body was drained off energy and I felt tired after this. Sometimes I also sweated.
The doctor prescribed four medications. These helped but I still had seizure once even with the medications.
When I started to take the herbs, I stopped taking the doctor’s medications. I have no more full blown seizure. Even if a seizure seemed to come, it went off after five minutes. My heart did not beat rapidly anymore, like before.
Father: His leg still felt numb but the jerking of his leg had stopped. After taking the herbs, his health had improved tremendously.
Chris: Take care of your diet. Don’t worry about the initial loss of your weight. You will get back your weight after a while.
Ron came to Penang again in March 2012. He had another MRI. MRI report dated 9 March 2012 stated: The tumour is still present in this current MRI and the size is 6.7 x 6 x 6 cm. There was no significant change in size compared to previous MRI. Findings suggestive of low grade glioma. (Note: previous size was stated as 6 x 6.2 x 6.7 cm).
Some Points to Ponder
After six months without any medical treatment and with only herbs, the tumour did not grow bigger. Why? Could it grow smaller with time?
Ron was not on any doctor’s medication but his health improved – no more serious seizure! Does this not prove that the herbs are effective?
What do you think could happen if Ron were to undergo radiation treatment as suggested by the doctor?
Why do you think patients (even rural folks!) do not readily follow or accept their doctors’ advice when it comes to chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery for cancer?
Lan is a 48-year-old lady. About a year ago she bled when having sex. In addition, for the past 5 to 6 years she had white (and sometimes yellow) discharge. She had regular Pap smear in Singapore. But on 13 September 2011, the result showed she had low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion, encompassing mild dysplasia (CIN 1). The cellular changes presented were consistent with Human Papilloma Virus. The doctor suggested that Lan perform a biopsy. She refused.
Lan came to seek our help on 25 November 2011. She was prescribed herbal teas – Cervical 1 and Cervical 2; GY3 – Leuko for her white discharge and Yellow Discharge tea. She was asked to take the herbal concoction every day.
On 9 March 2012, we received an e-mail from Lan.
God Bless You.
(Translation: With this email I am sending the Pap smear results to Dr. Chris. I did my Pap smear on 14 February 2012 in Singapore. The result was “normal”, meaning my CIN 1 has been cured. Thank you Lord Jesus and also to Dr. Chris. Also, I do not bleed anymore during sex. My white discharge has also resolved. Thank you and God bless you.)
Pap Smear Report 15 February 2012 – Parkway Laboratory Services Ltd.
Cervical smear: Benign cellular changes. Fungal organisms morphologically consistent with Candida species. Cellular changes present consistent with inflammatory effects. Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy.
Women are asked to go for regular Pap Smear. One of the worrying result from this exercise is dysplasia, which means abnormal cell growth (dys means abnormal, plasia means growth). A diagnosis of cervical dysplasia does NOT mean you necessarily have cancer. This condition is generally regarded as precancerous or “moving towards” cancer when it occurs in the female reproductive system. So dysplasia is/can be a precursor to cervical cancer.
There are two different systems for classifying dysplasia.
1. The Bethesda or SIL (squamous intraepithelial lesion) System. There are four degree of cell abnormality:
a) ASCUS – atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance.
b) AGUS or AGCUS – atypical glandular cells of undetermined significance.
c) LSIL – low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion.
d) HSIL – high grade squamous intraepithelial lesion.
b) CIN 2 – corresponds to moderate to marked dysplasia or HSIL.
c) CIN 3 – corresponds to severe dysplasia, sometimes also referred to as carcinoma in situ(CIS).
Occurrence
Between 250,000 and 1 million American women between ages 25 to 35 are diagnosed with CIN annually. CIN can start in any of the three stage, and can either progress, or regress. About 70 percent of CIN-1 will regress within one year, and 90% within two years even when left untreated. About 50% of CIN 2 will regress within 2 years without treatment. Progression to cancer typically takes 3 to 40 years (average of 15 years).
Treatment
The treatment depends on the degree of dysplasia. If you suffer from dysplasia, you may only need careful observation by your doctor with repeat Pap smears every 3 – 6 months. Hopefully it goes away. But if this does not go away or get worse, treatment is necessary. Treatment for higher grade CIN involves removal or destruction of the neoplastic cervical cells by cryocautery, electrocautery, laser cautery, loop electrical excision procedure(LEEP),or cervical conization.
It’s Not Cancer, Why Treat it?
While dysplasia is not cancer, it can develop into cancer of the cervix. Mild cervical dysplasia (CIN I) sometimes goes away without treatment, but most doctors will still treat it at this very early stage to prevent it from progressing to a more advanced form of dysplasia. We simply do not know nor do we have a way of predicting CIN I cells will become normal again and which ones will progress to CIN II and eventually cervical Cancer.
Do I Need Tests After Treatment?
Yes, because dysplasia can recur, It is therefore essential to have regular follow-up Pap Smears every three months for the first year and then every six months thereafter.
Comments
Lan benefited from the herbs in three ways:
She did not have to undergo any biopsy. She would not know what could have happened after a biopsy.
Her dysplasia problem disappeared after taking the herbs.
Her problem of white (or yellow) discharge was also resolved.
Over the years even women with CIN III and cervical cancer benefited by taking our herbs. And Lan’s is not unique or exceptional at all. We expect that to happen.
On the night of 9 February 2012, we received this e-mail.
Dear Dr. Chris and Aunty Beng Im,
I want to inform you that my father, Mr. LS from Indonesia, had died on Thursday, 16 February 2012. I want to thank you for all your treatment to my father during his sickness. Until his last days, he still took your herbs and did the e-therapy. I believe that your herbs and the therapy do bring goodness to him. He died without suffering (no pain and no difficulty in breathing, and he died in his sleep). I believe that he is already happier right now, free from his sickness and rest in a peaceful place.
Thank you for remembering my father among your patients. We, as a family, are happy to know you also. You gave a medication, with a personal touch, that we hardly find anywhere else. We learn a lot from you about healthy life style.
Reply: Dear K, A few minutes ago, after dinner, I asked my wife to write you and find out about your father. And now I have this news. Thank you for informing us. Please extend our sincere condolence to your whole family. Yes, sometime it is better to die and end all these sufferings and pain. Thank you again ~ Chris
Case History of LS
LS was a 71-yer-old man from Indonesia. In 2007, a chest X-ray showed a spot in his left lung. He did not do anything about it. In November 2010, LS did another chest X-ray and the spot was still there. He came to Melaka and did a CT scan on 15 November 2010. There was a speculated soft tissue lesion in the apex of the upper lobe of his left lung. It was 4.0 x 3.3 cm in size and was consistent with a lung carcinoma. A CT guided FNA biopsy was performed and confirmed that it was cancerous. LS was asked to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He refused. LS went to Singapore for a second opinion in February 2011. Another CT scan was done. The tumour had grown bigger to 40 x 35 x 45 mm. He refused further medical intervention and came to seek our help on 13 March 2011.
LS was subsequently prescribed herbs – Capsule A, Lung 1 and Lung 2 Teas. In view of the cysts in both of his kidneys, LS was also prescribed Kidney Tea.
After his first visit, we got to see LS again in May and July of 2011. When he came he did not have any pains. The only thing outstanding thing about him was that he was addicted to coffee. So we asked him to drink black coffee (without sugar!). His daughter updated us about his condition via e-mails, example as below.
10 December 2011
Dear Aunty Beng Im,
Thank you very much for your kind reply. I appreciate very much for your suggestion about foods that will help my father. The doctor here is so amazed about my father’s condition, how he still can walk by himself (without wheelchair) and do the daily activities by himself (eat, shower, exercise, etc). They said in my father’s case, the patient cannot survive within a year. My father was first diagnosed in November last year (2010). We still believe that taking the herbs and the food controlling brings benefit to him, beside God’s care of course.
Here I give you a photo of my father (I captured it last week). He was writing Chinese calligraphy. My sister asked him to do it so he has something to do at home and he does not think about his disease. He has more spirit right now, even his both legs are swelling (because the albumin level is low).
Thank you once again for your care aunty. Please send our regards to Dr. Chris. So sorry we still cannot go to Penang, because my father still cannot travel far. Please support us in prayer aunty. Warm wishes ~ K and family.

1. Did LS take the wrong path for his healing? Or do you know of a better path?
LS died and he did not want to undergo the standard medical treatment. Perhaps some critics would say that he should have followed what his doctor recommended – go for chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I would have loved to ask LS what he would have done if he were to live his life again!
As I am writing this story, I remember another case of lung cancer. This man – THK – is 57 years old and he was diagnosed with lung on 22 March 2011. The tumour was 20 x 24 x 22 mn in the upper lobe of his right lung (Note; LS had 40 x 35 x 45 mm) THK underwent 6 cycles of chemotherapy with Gemzar + Cisplatin (total cost about RM 50,000). The treatment did not cure him. In fact the cancer became more aggressive. He was switched to oral chemo – Tarceva for three months. The PET scan showed further deterioration. He was asked to undergo 6 cycles of chemotherapy with the latest or newest drug, Alimta at RM 9,000 per cycle. THK received 2 cycle of Alimta and gave up. The tumour makers kept rising in spite of the treatment. On 4 January 2012, his CEA was at 666.5 and CA 19.9 was 4,422.0. In short, the treatment failed miserably. THK concluded he was on the wrong path and came to seek our help on 3 February 2012.
2. Can chemotherapy and radiotherapy cure your lung cancer? The following are the answers.
3. They say do nothing is better than spending a lot of money to do something and get no meaningful result!
The first patient who took our herbs was Ben. He had colon cancer that had spread extensively to his liver. This happened way back in July 1995. Ben wrote, “There would be no medicine for me. I was advised to prepare my will as soon as possible. I was stunned for a moment. My wife, Cindy and I broke down. I thought I am going to die.“
Ben underwent palliative chemotherapy and at the same time started to take herbs, starting 20 July 1995. His health turned for the better. Ben and Cindy came to our house every week to help take care of other cancer patients, as more and more patients came to seek our help. For Ben to be able to live a quality life was an inspiration for us. At that time, we knew “nothing” about cancer. So through Ben we started to learn many things about cancer.
In the early morning of 29 October 1996, Ben passed away, rather unexpectedly. According to Cindy, Ben asked for an extra pillow. As she went to take it from the cupboard, Ben put his hands together and went home peacefully. According to the doctors, most parts of his liver had stopped functioning months before. It was a great wonder that he could still continue to live for more than a year. According to Cindy, one of the doctors commented that, Someone Above was helping him along!
I was at Ben’s grave site, a broken person. When they buried Ben, I felt as if half of me also followed Ben into the grave. It was a sad day indeed. My heart mourned and cried out “I want to give up Cancer Care. There is no point for me to carry on … Ben had lost his battle against cancer … I have failed! What is the point of going on? Indeed this failure was a big blow to my ego! I was naive then. But, later I learnt that I was not the only healer who feels this way. These two famous doctors also felt likewise.
However, in this time of grief, it dawned upon me that I have erred terribly … Chris Teo, are you playing God? No one lives forever. No mortal on earth can decide who lives or who dies or for how long. Life is God’s prerogative. He gives and He takes away. I soon realized that instead of abandoning what we had built, we should instead build upon it. We should take note of how Ben had benefited from the herbs and count those blessings.
Death comes sooner or later to everyone, to the healthy as well as the sick. Death is never the issue. Life is. To live is a challenge. It needs determination, courage and wisdom. Someday, when you are tired, sore or bored with life, death becomes a healing.
As we begin to take account of the blessings in Ben’s case, we realize again that there is no reason for grief. The doctors gave Ben two months to live but Ben lived one year, three months and eighteen days. However, it is not the length of time that mattered. What is more important is the quality of life Ben had. Ben lived a full happy life. He did not take life for granted. He anticipated and made preparations for his departure. He enjoyed whatever time he had with Cindy, having daily picnics and enjoying Penang’s natural spots under those shady trees. Ben even designed his own grave! He taught Cindy how to manage the chores of daily life without him like paying utility bills, taking care of the car, etc. When he departed, it was neither a sudden good-bye nor a slow painful death. Perhaps on this point alone, we take consolation that many people who were on the herbs died without much pain and their death came easily and peacefully.
From our experience with Ben, we realize that having only herb capsules A and B is not adequate to help the cancer patients. We need to do more research and find herbs that can alleviate pain, coughs, and a host of other problems that often afflict cancer patients. On this point, as I was writing this passage, the phone rang. It was from a lady who had come to see me the previous week. Her father had a severe stabbing pain in the back. The doctor prescribed pain killers but they were not effective. He took the Pain Tea only twice and the pain disappeared. There was no need for any pain killer drug! She called to relay her father’s thank you.
Unfortunately, Ben did not live long enough to benefit from this discovery. Many after him benefited. But we all owe it to Ben, our experiences with him widened our vision and understanding of the needs of cancer patients. One fact that amazed Cindy very much was that Ben never before believed in taking herbs! He was so particular that he would not even touch any medicine unless it was prescribed by his doctor. And then we had this same Ben taking herbs given by a complete stranger. When a friend from his church suggested our herbs he immediately agreed to take them without any hesitation. In retrospect, we always believe the Almighty God works in ways we cannot understand or foresee. When Ben completed his mission, he left us for Eternal Rest, his ultimate healing.
We now realize that we are not alone if we feel miserable or like a failure. Such feelings are normal but we must not allow these “failures” to affect us because there are actually not failures! Dr. Barbara Joseph said this:
LCG was a 46 year-year-old lady from New Jersey, USA. Let us call her Irene. Irene’s problem started with a cough some five years ago and this was diagnosed as due to lung cancer in late September 1997. At that time the right upper lobe of the lung had numerous tumours which had spread to the nearby lymph nodes and mediastinal.
From January to April 1998 she had chemotherapy – taxol and carboplatin, for five times. The tumour disappeared almost totally. In November 1998 the tumour reappeared. She underwent monoclonal clinical trial using PNU but it was not successful. Then she had chemotherapy again and this time with “Gemzar” once a week. The right lung collapsed and she had difficulty breathing.
5 August 1999. Irene’s brother came to see Yeong and presented her conditions as follows:
had an average of 6 hours sleep a day.
felt tired, especially when taking a short walk.
the CEA was 26.7
had coughs with clear, sticky white foam in the morning and night, and also when moving around or walking.
there was fluid in the lungs causing a choking feel – unable to climb.
had pain in the right shoulder, spinal cord and ribs when coughing too much.
She was prescribed Capsule A, deTox, Lung, Cough 5 and Ascites.
e-mail 27 August 1999 to her brother:
have started taking the herbs.
seems to feel pretty good – more energy.
my pain seems to have reduced a little.
I am also able to breathe better.
I am pretty weak but am not giving up hope yet. I know God knows what He is doing and when to take me home. I am ready and know where I will go.
Do write and I will try to write back as long as my energy permits me to do so.
e-mail 2 September 1999 to her brother:
The herbs that Dr. Teo gave me seems to work pretty good for me. I do not have much side effects from the chemo.
I have stopped taking the Noni Juice and Spess since I started taking Dr. Teo’s herbs.
Saw my oncologist yesterday – he said I looked good.
Started to put on some weight – Now I am up to 85 lb instead of 80 lb.
I am still coughing a lot and still have fluid in my lungs – it covered my whole right lung.
I wish I could get rid of it so that I can make a trip home to see you all. At this moment, I am advised not to travel (in the plane it will cause the fluid to move around and choke me to death).
I am also able to breathe better and sleep better.
I pray each day and night to get better to allow me one last chance to go home and see you guys.
Will be going back for chemo again on Monday. Feel better about the chemo now cos the herbs help me to cope with the side effects and I don’t feel so bad after each chemo.
e-mail 10 May 2000 to Chris:
My CEA was around 28 and later went up to 69. Just last week my CEA was 4.1. The value gradually decreased since the last couple of months.
My right lung was originally filled with fluid (no shadow at all!) and also collapsed.
My last CT scan about two months ago showed a shrinkage in my tumour size from 12/6/4 cm to 2×3.5 cm. Praise the Lord for this miracle.
At present I weigh about 110 lb. I was down to 75lb (actually 80 lb ?) when I first took the your herbs but gradually my appetite increased and I began to gain weight.
I volunteered as a Patient Support in the American Cancer Society here in New Jersey. I visit cancer patients at their homes and the hospitals. Praise the Lord for giving me this opportunity. Being a volunteer since my diagnosis helps me a lot. It gives hope and also (the comfort that) I am not alone. I promised myself to make a difference in someone’s life each day!
e-mail 10 July 2000 to Chris:
Just to update you a little. I have lately been travelling a lot. Been to New York for the annual cancer society meeting, on vacation to London, Holland, Niagara Falls, etc. Trying to make the best out of whatever time God has given me. Really enjoy myself, not even thinking I was sick at all. Put on a wig and nobody even knows I do not have hair or I am sick whenever I am out travelling.
The next few months I will be very busy with my lung cancer support group. This new lung cancer support group that I formed will meet every month where patients shared info, tears, joy, laughter and latest treatments on lung cancer both conventional and alternative.
Our comments
When I eceived the first visit form from Irene, my heart bled. How to help in this case – almost beyond repair? Then, to us – of all the female names in the world, the most beautiful is: Irene… our daughter is also named Irene!
Despair, however, did not last that long – slowly but surely the good Lord changes the equation. Irene began to feel well and her last e-mail was the ultimate. Hi there, Irene – you are having fun now!
Our advice to Irene: Make the best of life, but stay on course – do not make the mistake of changing your life style, away from the one that brought healing to you. Don’t be misled that everything is all over. Another mistake can be fatal. We always believe: it is excusable to be foolish once but not twice.
Friends, what do you think is the reason behind Irene’s healing? Medically, this is a touch and go case. We are not sure of the truth in this statement but we were told that the doctor expected her to live for only three months! But since it is God who decides not man, Irene got to live much longer than expected – to tell her own story to the world. Is it the chemo – the gemzar (gemcitabine) that cured her? You are welcome to your own opinion.
